Overall, it has been a great experience working with Marcie -- and it is still on-going because we are NOT done yet!.
Marcie makes it clear -- and this is SO wonderful -- that she will NOT "make" you throw away or give away any particular item. Marcie is very careful to let you know it is your decision -- not hers -- on what to keep. That takes away any possible "pressure" having her
in your home and your space. Having a lot of respect for one's things is great.
Marcie is extremely punctual (always appreciated!) and she is upbeat and encouraging in a most pleasant manner. That makes a
big difference in my experience. We worked for hours opening boxes, putting things away, making piles of goods to be donated and each visit has been totally worthwhile. Marcie has agreed to also help me delve into my storage unit and that in itself is a big relief.
She is absolutely and totally terrific!

I received help with a large storage unit full of goods to be sorted, donated or sold. The help I received was invaluable, so that a task that was well beyond my capability is now on the way to completion. I will continue to use the services of Marcie because I still need assistance, but now we have a clear plan and I know who else to obtain services from. Marcie has expertise in a range of areas related to organization, and that is an important part of her services.

When I called her we had a nice chat on the phone for 30+ minutes where where explained her process and methods (i.e., she's not the cleaning person, she's there to help me create new structure and rules to make it easier for me to manage clutter). She showed up right on time and we got right to work. We worked for three hours, which was enough to make progress but not so longI was burnt out. Looking back, I wish I'd talked and processed less, and worked a little harder :) but we still got a lot done. A few days later, as promised, she sent me a lengthy email detailing all the things we had agreed I would/could do, plus some helpful links for minor furniture replacement, etc. I printed out her 5 page email and it has given me great satisfaction to check a few items off as I get to them. When I finish this list, and some work being done on a bedroom upstairs, I plan to have her back to help me organize some other areas of my house.

I really liked working with Marcie and would highly recommend her. She came over at 1 pm on a Sunday, which worked very well with my schedule. Without judgment, she walked through my whole condo (closets, under the kitchen sink, laundry room, home office nook). She asked a number of questions about my living style, and made suggestions based on my answers. She was very funny, jovial, and patient. After three hours, she left and explained she would send me a follow-up email with her suggestions. A few days later, I received an extremely detailed email explaining how we could organize every inch of our house. The email also included product suggestions, which proved to be very helpful. Over the past several weeks, I have implemented about 80% of her suggestions and my house if far more organized. I am sure I'll use her again in the future.

I was extremely happy with her. I got her off of Angie’s List and was very pleased with her. She was punctual and worked well with me. She gave me some good ideas on how to stay clutter-free. She helped me get rid of many things, and I liked that I could stand in one spot and she would bring me things to sort for donations and to get rid of. She was exactly what I was hoping for and I would definitely use her again.

Marcie arrived and did a quick assessment of the room. She asked a few key questions and than began to move things around according to what I asked of her. She took out things to get rid of and found places for every memory that wanted to be saved. She categorized the corners of the closet, and made recommendations to create more storage space. When the project was complete, she took away the items I wanted to get rid of at no extra cost! She has an amazing ability to organize and she is very efficient. As an added bonus she has a delightful personality!

I knew I needed to buy sorters and bins and things, but wanted to have help from someone who is more familiar with the options out there so that I didn't end up spending time and money at the Container Store only to find that I had bought all the wrong things. Marcie was very helpful in providing guidance about where and how to store things, including which containers worked best for which items, which is exactly what I needed. My condo was like a big game of Tetris as I organized it- moving one set of stuff into a place, moving another out, but Marcie did a great job helping me break down what felt like an overwhelming task and get it done one piece at a time. In her visits, we would go through my problems, she would propose solutions, we would agree on one, and she would note it. After her visit, she sent me "homework," a list of items to accomplish. That list was SO helpful. Where before I looked around and saw a million things to do and became too overwhelmed to start, with the list, I made it my goal to do 3 items a weekend, and it got done! My place is really coming together- my pantry is amazingly organized and easy to use now, as well as just looking great, and my closet and bathrooms are much more livable. I plan to do one more session with her and then I will have everything where I need it. Highly recommend.

The process went very well. Once she came in, she asked me what my needs were with regards to the space, what my daily routine would be in using my office space and provided some suggestions on some systems that could help me work more efficiently and help cut down on creating clutter in the future.

I really like these guys. They come out and organize everything in my house. They do their work very well, they make sure nothing gets lost and that everything looks in place. They are very professional and very trustworthy. I would recommend this service to anybody.

Marcie responded to my email promptly. She was friendly and skilled at organization. However, after working together for a while, I found myself on the defensive a good deal of the time, e.g., wanting to keep Windex under each of the two sinks, wanting things to look good in addition to being well organized. She told me in a rather hostile way that I ''care about appearances'' (true), but why is that wrong? Lots of time that could have been used productively was used debating things like why I wanted to keep more than a couple of serving dishes or why I didn't want to store cleaning supplies with food in the pantry. I was disappointed that she didn't suggest creative storage containers like baskets, which I see on organizing shows on HGTV. Marcie had trouble finding our house and was about 15 minutes late, but did not stay to make up the time.

"I WAS HIRED TO FIND BETTER PLACES TO STORE THINGS IN THE KITCHEN, WHICH I DID. I ASK CLIENTS QUESTIONS ABOUT HOW THEY USE THINGS AND WHETHER THEY REALLY USE WHAT THEY HAVE. THERE WERE MANY MULTIPLES OF THINGS IN THE KITCHEN AND MORE IN THE BASEMENT. IN TRYING TO FIND SPACE, I SUGGESTED KEEPING CLEANING SUPPLIES IN THE PANTRY, WHICH WE SPENT ABOUT 3 MINUTES DISCUSSING. WE ARRANGED NEARLY EVERY CABINET IN THE KITCHEN AND BUTLER’S PANTY. A KITCHEN THIS LARGE, WITH THE NUMBER OF ITEMS IN IT, CANNOT BE COMPLETED IN FOUR HOURS BY ONE PERSON. WE SCHEDULED THREE HOURS FOR THE FIRST MEETING. WHEN I GOT THERE, I REPEATED THAT WE WOULD DO MOST OF THE KITCHEN THAT DAY, AS SHE ASKED ME ABOUT RETURNING. SHE DID NOT ASK HOW LONG IT WOULD TAKE UNTIL WE WERE NEARLY FINISHED THAT DAY. WHEN SHE ASKED ABOUT THE OFFICE AREA OF THE KITCHEN, I SAID I UNDERSTOOD THAT APPEARANCES WERE IMPORTANT TO HER, BUT THAT NO ONE WOULD SEE WHAT WAS BEHIND THE DOORS. I DID NOT SAY IT IN A HOSTILE WAY. I SUGGESTED A NEW AREA FOR FOOD PREP BECAUSE THE CLIENT WAS UNHAPPY WITH THE WAY THE KITCHEN WAS DESIGNED. I ARRIVED AT 1:10 PM AND LEFT AT 5:05 PM, WHICH IS 3 HOURS AND 55 MINUTES. AS I CHARGE IN INCREMENTS OF 15 MINUTES, THE CLIENT WAS CHARGED FOR 4 HOURS. SHE DID NOT EXPRESS HER DISPLEASURE TO ME OR GIVE ME THE OPPORTUNITY TO ADDRESS HER CONCERNS. IT IS IMPORTANT TO ME TO PROVIDE THE BEST SERVICE TO MY CLIENTS. UNFORTUNATELY, SHE HAS SEEN "INSTANT" MAKEOVERS ON TV, WHICH ARE UNREALISTIC."

She returned my phone call promptly and was very professional. She came to my home and gave me solutions that I could live with. I was afraid she would tell me to throw away a lot of things, but she found space for storage that I hadn't considered. I would recommed her highly.
