JAT CONSTRUCTION

These people now know our house better than we do. They have done multiple projects over the last 10+ years and we always go back to them when we need work done on the house. Quality of work and communication are excellent. They do use subcontractors - but these are subs that have worked with them for years so they are quality and reliable - many of them we have met multiple times. We do not hesitate at all to recommend JAT Construction, they have taken great care of our house, and we like them personally and trust them implicitly to do projects at our home whether we are in residence or away.

The gutter in the front of our house was leaking whenever it rained. We called JAT and one of the staff members (Scotty) promptly and accurately assessed the problem and provided a estimate by e-mail. Since we had used the company several times before and had always been completely satisfied, we did not seek any other bids and accepted the estimate. JAT set a date fo the work but, as it turned out, told us they were able to do the job earlier. We were away on vacation but told them to go ahead anyway. The work was completed in one day, and Scotty sent us several photos, including one documenting some underlying damage which had not been evident until the old gutter was removed. When we returned home. we saw that everything had been done to our satisfaction, including clean-up and removal of waste materials. When it rained a few days later, we could see that the gutter was working efficiently. Scotty stopped by a few days after that to make sure we were satisfied.
As noted above, we have used JAT several times before. Previous jobs including a major kitchen renovation and conversion of another room into a study, as well as some smaller repairs. In every case, we have been pleased not only by the work itself but by the promptness, professionalism, and courtesy of JAT's owner, Manny Hamer, and members of his staff. We have frequently asked them for advice about various conditions in our house, and they have always been very helpful. We have recommended JAT to friends and neighbors, and they, too, have been very satisfied with the work. We regard JAT as a local treasure!
