Bob fully explained the home energy audit, documented his evaluation, provided energy solutions and costs, and recorded before and after test results. By encapsulating the crawl space, adding insulation to the attic, and upgrading ventilation fans, Bob improved moisture and temperature control, reduced air leakage, and enhanced air quality in our 2-1/2 story, all-electric home. Our energy consumption decreased by 30-40%. Bob also initiated and finalized the paperwork to receive utility incentive rebates which saved us thousands! Bob and his assistant Patrick, bring a friendly and superbly competent dynamic to the work. We highly endorse and recommend this team.

The folks from Ener G were easy to work with. They were able to schedule a home energy audit just a few days after I called. They performed the audit, gave us the recommendations, and returned after we had some insulation work done. They rechecked everything and submitted the forms necessary for our rebate. Approximately 6 weeks later, we received the rebate from our energy provider. Overall, I was very satisfied with their service.

I have a large home that seemed to have trouble heating in the coldest months of the winter. A friend recommended Bob Nelson of Ener-G. I contacted Bob and in our first phone conversation I he had already begun diagnosing the problems of my home. Bob also explained the various options for improving my homes energy performance and best of all, he explained all the available tax rebates that were in effect that I could benefit from. In fact, the cost of the service I received from Bob was $450, but Bob utilized a rebate program from my utility company that paid $300 to Ener-G directly. Therefore I didn't have to fill out any forms or wait for a rebate check. Bob and I scheduled his visit and he came out that week. He spent several hours inspecting every floor of the house. He also performed a blower door test which ultimately tells you how well sealed your home is. It didn't take long for Bob to figure out that the leakage of heat was through an attic door. And it was a massive leak. I suspected the door may be leaking but Bob put it in to perspective by explaining how the blower door test works and how he was testing different areas of the home. It was quite the eye opener. Bob has since provided me with a detailed 24 page report on my homes performance and he recommended the best solutions to the problem. I have already taken steps to secure the seal of the leaking attic door and I intend to contract with Bob again to perform additional energy upgrades.
