Aquacrafters is a family owned business that knows the value of doing the job well and customer service.  We have a salt water pool that the owner, Paul, came out to close up.  What we needed didn't require a large crew so it was just the owner and his son.  They took the time to explain in detail what they would doing, made some recommendations for next year and then proceeded to get to work.  We don't use a weekly or monthly team, but rather have taken care of the pool ourselves.  This particular year we ran into a lot of problems with algae and Paul gave us some advice on how to nip that in the bud for next year.  They ensure our looplock cover was secured, the lines were cleared and cleaned up after themselves.  It was apparent they take pride in doing a good job and providing value.
We have already made the decision to engage them for bi-weekly pool maintenance this summer and we will be using them again to open and close our pool next year.  I highly recommend them for anyone looking for knowledge and customer oriented pool service.

In the 17 years that we have had the pool, we have had it serviced every year. We have used several companies and at least half a dozen individuals have done the work.  Aquacrafters was by far the very best.  Paul Brown did excellent work.  He was on time, reasonable in cost, very pleasant to work with, and did an excellent job.  When we need to open the pool in the spring, we will definitely hire him again. Can't say enough good things about him. 

Paul was great. He responded to my message within an hour and was at our house the next day ready to start work. He was thorough and conscientious and did a great job.

I sent an email inquiry via Angie's list as to Aquacrafter's (Paul's) ability to do the work. He responded by phone and email withiin a couple of hours and we arranged for the work to be done a day later. He arrived in the afternoon and had work completed/hot tub filled an hour or so later. Would recommend and call again if/when we have a problem with our hot tub!

We contacted Paul to give us a quote on repairing our spa, whose motor had died. He set an appointment quickly and told us how we could order the motor ourselves to save some money. Once it arrived he came out and installed it for us on a Saturday morning. Our spa is now working well.

We were very concerned since the spa is indoors and was leaking into a carpeted area.  Paul was very responsive.  He diagnosed the problem, and in his well stocked truck had the necessary parts to take care of the issue in one service call.  We will definitely call Aquacrafters whenever we need spa services.

It solved the issue we were having with the hot tub jets.

Though I was not sure about them in the beginning it worked out very well.  Every time he showed up which was nice.  I ordered the parts on line which was cheaper.

Great! Very professional. Arrived when scheduled, diagnosed problem, advised us where to get part online, then returned to install it. Paul knows his stuff. Our hot tub runs quietly again.

Paul Brown with Aquacrafters was excellent regarding his knowledge of the pools and spas, communication via email and phone, and timeliness of the work being done. I had been having trouble with a spa for a couple months and had a lot of trouble finding anyone who could provide a reasonable estimate or diagnosis as to why the spa wasn't functioning properly. Paul came out immediately and diagnosed the problem. He did not charge me until the work was completed. In addition to fixing the heater on the hot tub for a very fair price, he indicated that he takes care of pools as well. My pool had not been closed yet so he winterized it and covered it to get ready for the winter season. This was a great help to me and he wrapped it up in one low bill. I was extremely appreciative of his service and would HIGHLY recommend anyone needing hot tub/spa/pool servicing in the Montgomery County area of Maryland to use Paul.

Paul was awesome! He was quick to find where the hot tub was leaking and this was no easy task. We had two other repair companies out to look at the problem and they could not find or fix the problem. We were without our hot tub for three months until we finally found Paul. Paul works with his son and they are an excellent, professional, and knowledgable team.

I had a leak in one of the pipes in my old (10yr+) Sundance hot tub.  Paul from Aquacrafters first tried a simple (i.e, very low cost) solution but when that wouldn't solve the problem he re-plumbed part of the system to fix the problem.   Paul is very courteous, keeps the customer well-informed on how things are going and does a great job!!   This is the second  time I have used Aquacrafters and will definitely use them again as my old tub will undoubtedly need more work in the future.

I found three highly rated pool service firms on Angies' List and called them all. Paul seemed to be the most responsive with the best pricing and we scheduled a meeting. From the start I have been impressed with his dedication, care and knowledge. He continues to service our pool. He is such a breath of fresh air after the other company I used. The "other company" is already a poorly rated company on Angies' List so they don't need me to add to their bad reputation. Unlike  them, however, Paul comes when he says he will, does the work needed and charges a fair price. He is pleasant and knowledgable. I am very happy and feel lucky to have found him, Thanks Angie!

Paul is great- he does an excellent job and is very nice to work with. Earlier in the summer he replaced the pool filter for us. He was very careful and did a wonderful job. Such a contrast from the pool service folks we have used in the past.

Paul was always polite and answered all of my questions.  The pool got closed on schedule.  Paul and his son seemed knowledgeable and spent a good deal of time dealing with the previous owner's mistakes.  But they trucked through like professionals and got everything taken care of.

Paul was prompt, courteous and professional. He did an excellent job and came back several times to insure that everything was working perfectly.

I used Aquacrafters before and was very happy with there service.

Aquacrafters replaced my burned-out heating element on the next day after I called as they had the part in stock.
But, since I'd shut the system down we didn't realize that the curculation pump had also burned-out.
Paul researched and found the pump we needed was no longer available online or anywhere.
We ordered a slightly different model that required some re-plumbing. He suggested I buy the pump to avoid a markup.
He installed the pump and everything worked great.
I know he worked more then the two hours he charged me to replace the pump as some of the rework was a little more complex then expected because of tight clearances.

I'd reuse his services again in a heartbeat.

I found Paul to be very responsive, offering to come out on Saturday when I called him during the week.  He was professional, friendly, and diagnosed and fixed the problem quickly. I would not hesitate to call him again if I have any further problems.

I had called a couple of other places and his price was very competitive.  He was friendly, informative and started the job even before I got of bed. He noticed a leak and gave me a better solution than another company had.  I will use him when it is time to reopen my hot tub.

I plan to use for pool opening in the spring.

It went very well.  There was a little delay while he located the necessary parts for me to order.  Aside from that, no complaints.  I found him to be friendly and easy to deal with.
