The car was scheduled and dropped off and a rental car secured. This is a Geico provider w/enterprise rent a car so service was easy. I picked up car as promised and paid my deductible because it was a hit &  run.  When I got my vehicle home, I found multiple chips in the fender painted over. I returned to the shop and complained a) it was impossible to say the chips weren't from my mirror smashing into my car from against the side of a bus and b) I was upset they left clear damage (they previously noted) in the fender w/o even giving me an opportunity to discuss or even paying for the additional work since it was virutally in the same place as the mirror.  Geico agreed as did the owner it was poor customer service and they repainted the fender.  When I did, I asked they add a flat piece of trim to both doors (this is peel n' stick plastic painted to match).  When I picked up my vehicle for the rework, no one even went out to the vehicle w/me to see if I approved. They handed me my keys and said goodbye. They also charged me $600 to paint and stick on a flat side moulding. I've done this w/every other car I've owned and the cost NEVER exceeded $100-$200. My understanding is the factor ford moulding was about $100 so they charged me $400 for paint n' stick (no vehicle prep/no blend needed).  Beyond this, they again did not inspect w/me.  -could care less. Beyond this work, they actually quoted me MORE than a dealership to do other side-by-side comparison work.  I'VE NEVER IN MY LIFE SEEN A PRIVATE SHOP BID HIGHER THAN A DEALER (and my family owned 2 auto repair garages... I basically grew up in the auto business).  Bottom line: There was a small flaw in the repaint work I will live with but their repair was over $900 to fix 3 minor scratches on F250 fender. At  that cost, typically I would be able to just have a new fender bolted on but these were just seriously superficial scratches through the clear coat.
Also, they quoted me over $5000 to paint my entire truck.  My next door neighbor thinks my truck is brand new!  It's 11 years old and has 2 minimal rust spots and 5 scratches, 1 door ding.  For $5K, I'll buy a new motorcycle and drive in the rain before I'd ever return to this establishment. Their business model is 'top billing rate,average work'.
I'd rather get MAACO... seriously avoid these guys and shop around.  I dropped the vehicle off Tuesday for rework and I got personal items out of the vehicle Thursday morning at 9am.  The truck hadn't been touched yet except to remove the F250 emblem. They called by the end of the day to say it was completed!  A complete paint rework in less than one work day!!!!  No wonder I have flaws in the finish coat. Sad, truly sad. Autobody used to be about artistry and pride.  These guys are about money.
