Jill performed superlative work with all of our cats, especially our sick one. She does an absolutely perfect job with animals, because she cares so much for them.

We got daily photos of our dogs and short reports via text message as to how our girls were doing. It was great to be able to leave our dogs in our own home, as opposed to sending them to a kennel. We have already scheduled them again!

Service was Great! We will definitely use Higgins again.

I have used Jill for years to sit for our Cats. She has become a trusted member of our family. She has always been very reliable and friendly. She even sends us photo's when we are away on vacation. She treats "Bugs" as if she were her own. Highly recommend!!!

We were very please with our experience. Jill, the owner, genuinely cares about the well being of all the animals. She wanted to be sure the dogs had an appropriate schedule for their visits to allow them the opportunity to go out to do their business. When I expressed concern over one of my dog's anxiety issues, she was kind enough to come over for a 2nd meet and greet, just to be sure he would be at ease with her. She has a great way with dogs, and my usually panic-filled dog was quickly at ease with her. He was even rolling over for belly rubs by the time she left the 2nd meet and greet. Jill is trained as a veterinary technician, meaning she has the ability to recognize signs of illness early and also is trained to administer medications, injections, and IV fluids. Her knowledge and experience was especially comforting to me when I found a small rash on another of my dogs right before we left for the trip. I knew that Jill would keep and eye on it, and be able to treat it, if necessary. We went away from Sunday - Friday in July 2016, leaving our pets in Jill's care. She texted us after the first couple of visits just to let us know everyone was ok and doing well. These texts were very comforting, as our pets are our babies. When we got home, we found everyone happy and healthy. All of the cages and litter boxes were clean and fresh, and there was no trash left in the house. Jill's rates are very reasonable, and are comparable with our previous pet sitter, who we lost when we moved out of their service area. We are very happy with the service we received and will be using Higgins and Friends again. I cannot recommend this pet sitting service enough. We have a lot of pets - 3 dogs, 4 cats, 5 ferrets, 1 rabbit, 4 aquariums, and 2 large aquatic frogs, and she provided excellent care to them all.

Jill is great, so lucky to have found her. We used to have friends stop in and check on our 4 cats, but they just did not really do that great of a job, especially with the litter boxes, etc. Sure it was free to have friends do it, but it's totally worth it to pay for Jill's services. Our cats are such good boys w/ her and she has great attention to detail for all the stuff she does. She has also been available on some short notice events for family emergencies, etc.

I scheduled the pet sitter in November since Christmas is a busy time for them.  Jill worked with me on the details of this visit since we often have different needs.  The sitter, Crystal, came twice a day to feed the cats, give medicine to our oldest cat, and cleaned their litter boxes,  She also brought in the mail each day as well as our Sunday papers.  She knows all of our cats now and recognizes their specific needs. 
This is an outstanding pet sitting service.  We've been using Higgins and Friends for over 7 years now and wouldn't use anyone else. 

I've used Higgins and Friends for almost two years and I HIGHLY recommend Jill and her team. I started using her services in 2011 when my older dog became ill and needed medicine administered in the middle of the work day. Jill sat down with me and did a full and complete interview of my pet's needs and then arranged a weekly schedule of daily mid-workday visits where she or one of her wonderful employees visited my home and gave my dog all her medicine (to include both pills and occasionally subcutaneous fluids), then walked her and spent some time visiting with her and comforting her.
 
Happily, my dog Annie made a full recovery and the daily visits evolved into long, energetic daily walks. I noticed a positive increase in Annie's happiness and energy and fitness level and these walks in the middle of the work day have increased her quality of life. Jill's team always leaves a nice detailed note of how Annie feels and acts each day. I find it very easy to reach Jill if I need to reschedule a walk or if I get the occasional day off of work and don't need her services for the day.
Jill has also done daily cat-sitting visits on the times when I've gone out of town for a few days or a week and wanted to make sure someone was checking in on our cat. If I am out of town, her team does nice things like collects the mail and paper, brings packages inside, etc.  It gives me peace of mind that someone is checking on the house and will call me if anything is amiss.

We have used Higgins & Friends Pet Sitting for several years, both for short term and long term pet care. Jill and her team are simply THE BEST.  The level of care that Jill provides consistently meets the high expectations we set for a pet sitter. Knowing that our animals are in excellent hands while we are away is invaluable to us. Higgins & Friends are without a doubt the premier pet sitting service in the area.

She is very responsive. Her prices are reasonable.  She takes very good care of her clients.  She is very personable and knowledgeable.

She did a superb job. One of our dogs doesn't like strangers. Jill was able to make friends with him. Both of our dogs seem to really like Jill. They are a lot happier being able to stay in their house instead of a kennel. Higgins & Friends is extremely trust worthy. They have a key to our house and we have never had any problem

Jill of Higgins and Friends is an experienced Vet Tech, who is very good at administering meds and fluids to animals.  She has a "way" with animals.

We?ve used Jill for many years.  She is an extremely well trained and dedicated.professional. She is also very reliable and compassionate.  She is especially good with shy and/or cranky pets.

They are very good. The lady that owns the company seems to be a cat whisperer as my cat really loves her and that is not always the case. I had a neighbor take care of my two cats in the past and when I came back it was not good. When coming back to my home after using this company my cats are always very happy. They are very good at what they do and the quality of work is well worth the price. The responsiveness is very good and Jill will take care of any issues that come up.

They were great. They were professional and they left a book summary on how the dogs did. Everything was picked up and in order and they are very trustworthy. I would use them again and I have referred them to other people as well.

The service has been very good. They left a little note on what had transpired with the cats each day. They ask who the veterinarian is before they start the work and if the cat has any special needs. They do an excellent job of getting information before they do work. It did take them a couple of days to get to our home and find the key and to discuss details.

It was excellent. They took lengthy information so that all possibilities. Down to where the water cutoff valve in the house was in case of house emergency. Jill visited the house before my trip and met my cat, Layla. Layla was well taken care of. Much evidence of playing with the cat and all was clean and neat upon my return.

She is really a lovely woman who loves cats. She came over before hand to meet my cat and told us all about the services including what she does. My cat, Oliver, responded well to her and was very relaxed when she came. We were gone a week and she came twice a day and fed Oliver. I gave her instructions on how he liked to play. I was afraid to leave my pet for that long but she was excellent. She spent 45 minutes to an hour each time she was here. I thought her rates were reasonable and the level of care was excellent.

Great from start to finish. There were no worries about feeding, etc.
