Fichtner Exteriors did a GREAT job on our project. Nolan, Doug, Israel and his team were very skilled. Easy to work with. Came up with smart solutions. The price for the work was very reasonable. They went over and above what we expected and they were a pleasure to work with.

Great! Fichtner Services came out quickly, gave us a good estimate, and scheduled the work within a few days. The crew that repaired the damage was professional and friendly. They just became our 'go to.'

The same day I called they came out and gave me an estimate. They were able to come out a week later to do the job. They did a great job. My siding is decades old, and the new piece of siding they installed is pretty darn close in appearance. I also got an estimate from another company that is on Angie's List. Fichtner's price was less than half their competitor.

Had a leaking 2nd story window that was dripping water into the room below. Turns out that because the window was not first installed properly, it had rotted out and had created the problem. Fichtner was the only company that diagnosed the problem correctly and provided a reasonable quote. After using the team from Fitchner I had decided to get a roofing quote from them about a year later. This was even after I thought I had found a roofing guy (See one of my older posts). After comparing roofing quotes I decided to go with Fitchner because of the size of the job, along with their outstanding quality and reasonable pricing. The entire team did a great job.

This is a little overdue, but wanted to thank Steve F. for coming out to repair a shingle on my roof with such short notice. In late April, we had a borderline severe storm roll through the area and when I came from work that afternoon I had noticed a couple of deadwood limbs fell on my roof and onto the ground below. A piece of the limb (and not very big at all) had punctured a shingle (top layer only) on my barely 2-yr old roof (that Fichtner also installed in 2017). The next day, Steve came out and replaced the punctured shingle very quickly. Though late, I just wanted to take the time to say thanks! It's great to have Fichtner Services around in the local area!

I am very satisfied with the project. They were very responsive regarding any issue that arose during installation and afterwards. The price for the services was reasonable for this area. I highly recommend them.

On the 12th of March (2019) Fichtner Services came out to perform a gutter cleaning and tune up at my house, and did an outstanding job from start to finish. A crew of two members came out to perform the service, and were very thorough. I was amazed at how much dirt and debris accumulated in some of my gutters in a little over a year, even with gutter guards. There was one section in the back of my house (behind my garage), where it looked like someone took a flower pot and dumped wet potting soil into my gutters... :-) All gone now... What I also appreciate is the tune up that was performed. The crew discovered many of the gutters had little to no caulking and they addressed it all. They even addressed an issue I had at the back of my house (same spot I mentioned earlier, but where the garage section meets the main part of the house in the rear), which was a small gap between the gutter and the vinyl siding which- over the years- let water drip down on the ground, eventually creating a fairly deep hole in the near my foundation which I only discovered (and repaired) very recently. As for the gap above, the crew went above and beyond and installed kick flashing and caulked it well to ensure that the gap is no longer there. I'm so grateful to have a reputable home contractor like Fichtner Services in the neighborhood. I would highly recommend them to anyone. Two years ago they gave me an amazing new roof, and have performed two gutter cleanings since then, including this one. If you're like me and don't like to climb ladders to get onto the roof to clean and tune up your gutters, just give Fichtner a call (or just give them a call anyway, even if you do like to climb ladders). They have an outstanding work ethic, and that is something you will see from the customer representative at the main office, to the crews who service your home. It gives you peace of mind. I have been a Fichtner Services customer for well over a decade. Not only have they replaced and repaired my roof, they have installed and replaced skylights and sliding glass doors. Two years ago they did an amazing job taking all of the wood siding off the exterior of my house and replacing it with Hardie Board and it looks beautiful. The office staff is always helpful, but they outdid themselves today. A hard rain revealed inside flooding from one of my sliding glass doors and I could not find the source of the leak. I called Fichtner at 8:30 am and someone was here at 12:30 pm and identified the problem and promised to get me on the repair schedule quickly. Their professionalism, followup, courtesy and great work is why I only go to this company whenever I need work on my home.

I called Fichtner Services because a section of soffit and flashing was damage during a wind storm. The estimate came early to inspect the job. He take a small deposit and the office called later with the date of the work. The crew showed up on time and performed excellent work. I would use them again.

Overall, our roof installation went well. Mr. Bafford came to the house to do the roof consultation. We appreciated his professionalism, knowlege in roofing, and being prepared as well as thorough. Afterwards, I contacted Mr. Bafford a couple of times with questions and he got back to right away. The price quote was fair and comparable to other quotes we received. Mr. Bafford came out to the house a second time with materials to assist us on selscting a roof color. Unfortunately, after everything was scheduled, our old roof leaked. Fitchtner Services were great about moving the roof install date sooner. The crew came and they were done in one day. They picked up scrapes and you could barely tell they were there. The work went really well. May 15th Steve (service manager) came out with his assistant to quickly check out the entire roof (2 story colonial single family home). I had extra shingles on-hand from a few years back when we had another contractor put on a front porch. Steve checked out the Owens Corning shingles to make sure the extra could be used. Steve let me know after signing a simple service agreement, which he fully explained that they'd be out in the next two weeks, where they'd call the day before they came out. The two technicians arrived a little late, but no worries here as I work from home. They were courteous, professional and finished up in about 1.5 hours! They cleaned up and said I'd be contacted for payment. Teresa handled the appointment scheduling and was prompt to get back to me so that I could pay online with an electronic check, nothing to send in the mail :) Her first email to me was to make sure the job went as expected.

Experience was excellent, from first telephone call, to estimator visit, prompt delivery of cost and materials quote to the job itself, and cleanup. Everyone was polite, helpful, professional and efficient. Friendly as well. Roofing crew was awesome; started early and worked late. Cleanup was impressive; I didn’t find a single nail! This was a multi-day, tough job due to steep roof pitch, among other things. I highly recommend this local, family-owned and operated company.

Fichtner Services was a pleasure to deal with for the replacement of our roof. From the initial call to the office, to meeting with the salesperson, to the professionalism of the crew, and finally to the follow up - they exceeded at customer service. The new roof looks amazing and we could not be happier with it.

Fichtner did a great job on our roof, skylights, and siding. They were very responsive from the beginning to end of the process. All work was done with quality, and on-time. Their crews worked hard and diligently o complete the project and communication was good. I'd use them again!

Fichtner Services did an outstanding job installing a standing seam metal roof to a front portico that has both curved metal panels and hipped sections. Due to the shape and some intricate details, other companies said they could only do it using copper material, but Fichtner Services offered that they could do it in either steel, aluminum, or copper. We chose 24ga coated steel material, and Fichtner prepared template and ordered custom barrel section panels. When the installation crew first arrived, the project manager and crew leader explained how the work would proceed, answered questions clearly, and easily adjusted to a slight change requested to the front edge form of the roof. The crew demonstrated they were very talented in cutting and folding the metal sections and installing the system with 1” standing seams. The workmanship was excellent and we were very happy with the result. All communication with Fichtner Services was very professional, and responses to questions very prompt. We would definitely hire them again.

Fichtner Services is an outstanding company and worth every penny! Our large, 22+ year old roof need to be replaced; their estimate was very fair and their roofing crew and supervisor hard-working, efficient and knowledgeable. The materials were delivered the day before and the supervisor and crew were here by 7:30 AM on the appointed day. The crew moved patio furniture and covered our fish pond to prevent any damage. And when it was discovered that 16 sheets of plywood needed to be replaced, Jan, their supervisor, explained everything before proceeding. The crew worked tirelessly and completed the entire job including cleanup (leaf blowing all walkways & magnets to pickup errant nails) by 7:15 PM the same day. Amazing! The next day Jan returned and explored the grounds to make sure all the debris and nails had been removed. An excellent local firm with great employees, strong work ethic, and wonderful customer service. I would use them again if ever needed!

Fichtner did an excellent job. A crew of 6 men and a supervisor removed the old roof and skylight. The work involved removing two sets of shingles and the mostly rotten plywood underneath, then putting in all new plywood, shingles, and skylight. The work was more involved than anticipated, but they nonetheless got it done in one day's time. Before starting the job, they had given me itemized additional costs in the event that the work did exceed the estimate, and they stuck to this. Site clean-up was very good. I would use them again.

This team is amazing! It all began when we had those heavy rains at the end of July. Something told me to go into my attic and check things out. Sure enough, I discovered two leaks at the crown of the roof, and it was then I decided to make the call over to Fichtner, because I already knew these folks were amazing based on all of the positive reviews (and the work they had done on the house prior to me moving in). As the day of heavy rain went on, my leaks got worse. I took some photos and sent it over to one of the members (this was midnight), and they came back at 6:30 the next morning to make a temp repair...which had held up well (even considering that the storms just kept coming for a while). Several weeks later, I finally have an amazing new roof (and shed roof as well), and the neighbors love it. I couldn't be more happier, and now (for a long time) I won't have to worry about the roof. They were honest and did not try to sell me something I did not need. I would recommend and use them in the future if needed.

It went well. They had lots of patience with our many questions. They were understanding about working with us to decide what color shingle to use, The work was done in the scheduled time frame. They fixed putting on leaf relief when there was a mix up from contract to work order. They came out and installed it the day of discovery. The roof makes us happy, especially on a rainy day like today.

Once again Fichtner Services did a great job on services I needed for my home! Work scheduled and completed quickly by a courteous crew who cleaned up perfectly when work was completed.
