Description of Work: We had an addition put onto the back of the house for my dream kitchen. I designed & ordered everything for the cabinets, appliances, some lighting & all flooring, the building ,installing, electric, plumbing and permits were his job. The company was on the lower end of the pricing scale but not the very cheapest. They did a good job as far as overall but attention to detail was lacking. If you didnt keep an eye out for things behind them, they would be missed/forgotten or we felt as though he hoped we may not notice (things we asked to be done that were not, framing not squared off or bubbled, external hoses & gates not done). A few things were broken and when brought to his attention he would either say it was in the box that way (& installed it anyway) OR how did that happen? The basic building is good work so far, its been finished for about 5 months amd the only problem is the 3 way lighting is a little weird. He was not up to date with quite a few things in building products and inspections alot of "I dont know" & "whats that". We had bad leaks in the 2 new installed doors which he didnt feel he should address or wasnt his problem even though he built the frame, picked out & installed them which was a large argument. If you have a problem with foul language these are not your guys, swearing all day. We also had incidents with them leaving our house unlocked & losing our keys so we made arrangement to always be there when they were. As with any project there will always be little things that you are not happy with but can live with. Overall I love my kitchen. If you are willing to babysit everything & listen to excuses or play silly games the work was satisfactory. We have another small project in the works in the next year & will not be using them again. It wasnt a complete nightmare but very unbearable at times.
