RYAN HOMES INC

First I will say that Mike, the construction foreman, was great. He was professional and worked with me on my concerns and questions. The home is built pretty good with the exception of a few areas. My roof structure is wrong causing dipping in the shingles. Many of the singles were not installed correctly and some were actually cut and fell off the roof. I submitted the bill to fix it and they still have not paid me. We recently pulled up carpeting to put in wood flooring and found the subflooring nailed (not screwed) down with roofing nails. Not sure what else we will find along the way. The sales person made all kinds of claims about the neighborhood, ie clubhouse, pool, trails, etc which to this day (4 yrs) still haven't happened. He also mislead us on the financing and almost caused us to not get the home. He was pleasant the whole time, but a salesman (misleading). If I could go back in time I would never buy a Ryan Home or anything even related to Clark Turner. The HOA is a joke (the home owners have no control). We have unfinished roads, construction garbage, unkempt empty lots, no pool, no playgrounds, no trails, and no answers.
