Jim provided Rainbird system at a fair price compared to other estimates. Installation completed in 2 days. Crew was tied up on a commercial installation, so Jim personally showed up on agreed date and began install himself. All trenching was hand dug. Not as deep as I would have liked, but satisfactory for our location. Design was limited by local HOA restrictions on placement of sprinkler heads in right-of-ways, so the ideal design could not be executed. Final install does cover all areas, but overlap required to reach all areas in the right-of-ways seem to be slightly inefficient and may use more water. Depth of runners was shallow and when I had the lawn aerated, one runner was punctured. Jim was able to install the manifolds in the crawlspace, so no outside pits and maintenance much easier. We did have one leak in the crawlspace from a hole in one of the main lines. Seems the line was punctured on the roll before installation. When discovered, I called Jim and he responded within an hour and made the repair. Since install, the system is working very well.

I first used Jim Hall around 1998 to have him install lawn irregation. More recently I called him back to add drip hoses to the system to feed window boxes and pots. He came to home and inspected, went and purchased special nozzles and showed up to do the work on the day he said he would. System is great. Cost for 15 separate hoses was only $700. Then I had him fix standing rain water problem resulting from blocked runoff. I had one quote of $1,150. to fix, but company never showed to fix. I mentioned the problem to Jim (without saying I had a $1,150 estimate) and he said he could install a catch-tank and would be back tomorrow to install. He returned as promised and did a beautiful job installing the tank where it is hardly seen. . . and he did it all for only $400. Great man. Great company.
