I did a lot of my holiday shopping at the Village Gem. This is a family owned business that has been in the Perry Hall community for more than 10 years. They are patient and help you select that perfect item! They have layaway-a great feature for a jewelry store of their caliber. They also have estate jewelry, pottery, southwest items, ravens stuff, clocks, perfume bottles, and more. The majority of their jewelry repair is done on the premises.
Their prices are excellent! In the past, I had a ring resized for approximately $55. Those bigger stores are much more expensive.
Several items I bought were special ordered and arrived in only 2-3 days. Very quick for this time of year. I had 2 key rings engraved. Those took about one week. I was looking at their extensive charm collection. I thought I'd ask if they had a scooter charm. Not a skateboard charm, but a scooter charm. I knew there was no such thing. Alec looked and behold, a sterling silver scooter charm was ordered at the cost of $18. My son was amazed!
Bottom line.... The Village Gem has a great selection of gifts and jewelry that are sold by wonderful people. That personalized touch is not found much any more. Go take a look!
