Thermo Sash Windows

The installation team was excellent. The arrived on time; were neat and professional. Cleaned up as they went along. Very efficient - really good job. The C-rating is because once the sale was made, I never heard from the sales rep again; not even to call to see how the install went. I had to call the company to find out the status of my window because it took 8 weeks to get made (hard to believe). There was some confusion; couldn't find where my window was. This did get resolved. Then, once installed the only communication from the company was to get my credit card number - no follow up call from anyone to see how the install went or if there were any issues - or, if I was happy with the service. I then had to call to inquire when I would be receiving my warranty info since a couple of weeks went by with no word from Thermo Sash. When the warranty did arrive, my name was spelled incorrectly. I called to make sure that my name was correct on the account in case I needed to contact them down the road. I do not know whether that ever happened; and, I haven't received a corrected warranty. I also received no information about the window - features, quality, etc. I figured I would get something with the installation, but there wasn't anything provided. I was really disappointed in the overall experience with this company (except for the actual install crew). I can only hope that this window is good, because I'm sure Thermo Sash is not concerned.

Estimator checked out old windows and gave me several options for replacement. Owner came out and double checked the measurements. Installer was very nice and did an excellent job. Removed all old windows and screens. Excellent clean up when he finished. Some delay on the installation date but understandable with the rough weather.

This was my second time working with Thermo Sash. They do an excellent job. The quality is great. They're a small business so maybe not as responsive or quick as you might want but the owner comes out to make sure everything is secure and measured correctly. I'd recommend them to anyone.

They are local.  I had no problem scheduling them to come.  I would tell my friend or neighbor looking for such a service.  They were convenient and worked with my schedule.

They got rid of the mold, but after three times coming to the house they gave up on fixing the problem.  So, I had to sign a contract with them for them to do the work, but they don't have to adhere to the contract and actually fix the issue.  I see no benefit at all in having Angie's List.  Most of the companies I have called either set up appointments and continuously reschedule at the last minute, or never show up at all.

It was good. They were very professional. They came on time at the time they said so they were very punctual. He cleaned up the little pieces of metal when he was done. He was good. I liked the price because some other companies wanted more money for the same work. The salesman was the owner. They even fixed my storm door for free.

Both doors replaces excellently! Service people punctual in arriving and completing work. Installation people knowledgeable about work involved. Completed installation and clean-up in timely manner.

Thermo Sash could not have been more helpful and responsive in the preliminary sales stage, including the initial walk through of the house, explaining what they would do and providing helpful advice. I stopped by their location without notice just to see the sliding glass doors and, again, the team there couldn't have been more helpful even though it was very close to end of day. I compared several different quotes from companies and chose Thermo Sash, not based solely on price, but rather the overall package and trust in them to do the job and follow up if there were any issues. There were definitely scheduling challenges that summer with our weather and travelling conflicts but I worked together with Thermo Sash to set the installation date. In fact, Thermo Sash came and temporarily fixed a broken window in the interim. The Thermo Sash team came as scheduled, one for doors, one for windows, and were finished in the two days as promised. They were professional, very nice, moved furniture when needed and moved it back, rehung the curtains and blinds I wanted left and disposed of the others. I love the sliding glass door with the interior blinds.

They were very responsive in setting up an initial appointment. Bob Hoffman was puntual and made a very professional and informative presentation. The pricing forboth materals and installation was very reasonable. The installation phase was timely and went smoothly. I have been very please with my purchase and just recently placed another order for replacement windows in our home. I would highly recommend Thermo Sash.

Rod came to my home to install a kitchen garden window and a powder room window on 11/29 and 3 basement windows on 11/30. He was on time, very efficient and was willing to remove my alarms and put them back on for me. The garden window is just what I needed. I had 11 plants cluttering my counter in front of the kitchen window. Now I have my work space back for cooking.
The garden window is well constructed and instalkled inside of the frame, not hanging on the outside of the house. In the past month I had all my windows cleaned and I complained that the outside of the garden window was dirty. Bob was willing to clean my window, but Rodney ended up doing the job. These guys go the extra mile.
I'm waiting for a new front and storm door and a side door from our garage. The doors take longer. I'm so excited to have a storm door for Spring and Fall, so I can have more sun light in my entry way.The garage door will only have a half-moon window and will make the garage more secure.

The company allowed an extra day for completion because I have many windows in my home. On the last day, they sent an extra crew so that the work would be completed on time. They also rehung my window treatments and when my shades needed a different type of assembly hardware, they went to the store and purchased them at not extra cost.

The installation went very well. Rodney (installer) was a real professional who has all the qualifications. The job also included working along with our alarm technican. Although the promised delivery took longer than promised, it was not an big issue. One window was not correctly ordered, and Bob corrected the situation. Job well done.

They did a beautiful job. They did a good job of cleaning up after themselves. The owner came out to measure and give us a quote. The workers were very polite and cleaned up well. We plan on using them in the future. We received quotes from other companies and they had the best products and price.

The company had been recommended by several neighbors who had had a good experience with it. Once contacted, the owner was responsive to our need, knowledgeable about his product and options, and having had several other customers on the street, familiar with the challenges of replacing our steel, muntined windows with modern, energy efficient models that were compatible with the architecture of the dwelling. While we had to wait at least 8 weeks for the windows to be custom made and the work scheduled, once it began the crew came on time, worked full days, was reliable, neat and performed high quality work. The crew removed all debris and cleaned up after itself. The company offers an attractive guarantee.

This price is approximate. The salesperson, Bill, was excellent in his presentation and worked with us on the cost. He allowed us to be able to get the job done in our price parameters. The two workers were very clean, kind, courteous, and professional. I was very impressed with the way they dealt with the busyness of our family. The warranty on the windows was also better than any of the other companies that came out for estimates on this job. I would use them again in the future and would recommend them to others.

It was a good experience. They came when they were scheduled. They were professional in manner. They cleaned up after themselves and they took all the old windows that they removed with them to get rid of.

The windows and doors are of cheap quality. The service calls were ineffective. It was just a bad experience from A to Z. We got a lot of estimates and they were in the middle price range. I guess you get what you pay for. If I'm using hot water there is a line where the steam is on the window. They are supposed to be thermo windows but they are not any better than regular windows. They did arrive on time to do the installing of the windows and doors.
