Let me start by saying as a general rule I do not provide online review comments about products or services I purchase.  However, after working with Marc and Kandee at Protect-a-Child fence I feel compelled to inform others about the quality product they offer and incredible customer service they provide.  I was in the late stages of a new construction pool project and in need of quality fencing that had the option to be removed when conditions  warranted (i.e. no small children or non-swimmers present ) but also met local code, kept
people safe, and also helped keep the pool clean the other 99% of the time.   I did my research and contacted competitors and after seeing the finished product installed I was gratified in knowing I made the right decision - this is a quality product with added benefit of being manufactured in the US.  The actual fencing was available locally from Kandee and Marc, it did not have to be ordered or shipped from overseas.  I?ll finish by saying I received the BEST customer service from this outfit ? every text, email and phone call was
returned timely, they even addressed building code questions from the inspectors prior to installation and met my unreasonable timeline in preparation for a pool opening party.  I simply cannot say enough about Marc, Kandee and Protect-a-Child fence.

We needed a way to keep young children out of our backyard pool, beyond the perimeter fencing, and opted for the type of fence supplied by ProtectAchild. We looked at several vendors, but ProtectAchild and Mark stood out. First, they offered the fiberglass pole, which, we did not find elsewhere. Based on our research, fiberglass poles were stronger and more resilient than aluminum poles. Also, Mark was very knowledgeable, providing all the options and details needed to make a decision, and he led every installation, which in my experience is the best way to avoid getting a bad crew (the B or C team). Finally, Mark has been in the business for 25 years, and was personally motivated to find the best available solution to a very real danger.
The results far exceeded every expectation. First, I cannot emphasize enough the importance of a skilled installer. The difference between a floppy and saggy fence and a tight one is a matter of placing the poles an inch in one direction versus another. Mark is incredibly precise in his placement, and it bears out in the results. Also, we ended up with an elegant solution to a very real danger. The poles and the fence are as advertised --- in that they are sturdy. But the fence also looks very good, and does not impeded visibility in the backyard.
So with that, we would highly recommend the product and the team without any hesitation.

It was great! It's a good gate and it has a lifetime warranty on it. Their pricing was competitive and they are high quality. It did take them a little while to get out here, but he was very professional. I would consider hiring them in the future, but it's a one time service so I would recommend them to other people with a pool.

Mark was really great to work with. He arrived on time, gave us several options without doing a hard sell, and gave us a fair price. He arrived on time of the day of installation and did a fantastic job.
