fixed a leak from pipe under bathroom sink and it has been fine since then

Eric arrived on time.  He was courteous.  He brought his pressure gauges and a bottle of soapy water to detect a leak.  The system was very low on freon.  He charged it with nitrogen to a fairly high pressure and proceeded to spray the unit both inside and outside to look for a leak in the freon lines.  This was a very, very tiny leak and in hindsight, it was going to take more than a spray bottle of soapy water to find it.  Eric did as best he could do with the equipment at hand to find a very small leak.  On the positive side:  He never tried to suggest that we needed a complete new AC unit or a major repair.  He did the best he could to find the leak with the equipment he had on hand.  On the negative side:  He was going to leave the unit with the nitrogen charge and check it several days later.  It was blazing hot and I wanted something done to move the job along to completion.  Eric concluded that he though the leak might be in the condenser side of the system (inside the house) and I had to persuade him to move the repair along and order the condenser coil rather than just wait a few days to see how much nitrogen escaped from the system.  However, after Eric left, I considered that without really solid proof, the outdoor unit could be the source of the leak.  The reason I canceled having Professional Plumbing complete the job was that if I really needed to replace the outdoor AC unit, I wanted to replace it with a Carrier AC and Professional Plumbing is not an authorized Carrier dealer.  Overall:  I found Eric to be honest and well-meaning in trying to fix our AC unit.  In hindsight, I went with another AC installation and repair company and they brought an electronic leak detector and found a tiny leak in the condenser that no spray bottle of water would have ever found.  Professional Plumbing should invest in this equipment since many leaks according to the guy who repaired it are not gaping holes in AC systems but rather tough little things to find.  I do appreciate that Eric at Professional did not try to snow me into buying a replacement AC unit.  However, he could have been a bit more aggressive in trying to bring this problem to a quicker solution using more reliable, sensitive, technical equipment.

The pricing was good and reasonable. They are very responsive and we've never had any issues with them. No matter what the issues are they always have been able to respond. We've used them for 15 years. Typically the same person responds. He is very customer service oriented and has a lot of experience. He has always offered good suggestions for solutions. We will definitely continue to use them.

They are fantastic. I spent $280 on the last project with them. They were recommended to me by a friend probably 10 years ago and I have used them numerous times and for many phases of this project which is a major remodel that we are doing. They ran a gas line from furnace to a new gas fire place and rearranged all the plumbing in the ceiling, so that we could get a nice ceiling, without having to do a drop ceiling. They broke up floor to be able to install all the pipes to put in a new shower stall in the new bathroom. Over the years I have had them do so many things and they have always been so responsive and I can even call the owner Rob on his cell phone and if I don?t catch him he will call me right back in 5 minutes. These guys are and I have recommended them to other neighbors and friends and everyone has been very happy. I ran into one of the fellows in a store and we sat and had a chat in the isle and they are just really friendly guys. They were also so helpful when they were here at times when I had other contractors who may have needed to carry something to their truck or move something heavy out of the way. They helped each other out and sat outside at my picnic table where they ate their lunch and the boss is always here when there is something major. If I call him and ask for an estimate today, I don?t know how he does it, but I will have in the mail tomorrow.

Fantastic experience. All work done professionally and on time. Staff is friendly, courteous, and precise. The owner was on site several times during the project and was hands on as well. I have used this company a number of times over the past 10 years and have always been very pleased with the work. Rob Sisler is extremely accommodating and returns calls quickly. He came to look over the job one morning and I had the bid in the following day's mail! Work started within a week and was completed on schedule. I have referred Rob to several friends and neighbors and everyone has been pleased with his work.
