He told me he would go ahead and call the roof center and order the materials so that they could tell him when they would be able to deliver. I was then told his wife Jessica in the office would call me on Monday to set up an appointment to install the gutters. I haven’t heard anything from them and I have tried contacting them to get my money back with no response. I plan to use someone else at this point.

"[member name removed], I strongly disagree with you grading us an F for all categories. On Angie's List we are graded based on services provided. To our defense we have always provided you with superb customer service. In fact you were thrilled to find us on google after years. On this occasion Ed & I came out to give you a fair estimate, we even went the extra mile with assisting you with the hauling of a door from your rental property to your home Free of charge. On Thursday June 21 st Ed arrived on time cleaned your windows beautifully, cleaned out gutters & professionally pressure washed the patio, once again we went the extra mile & hauled another piece of furniture to your home Free of charge. You were pleased with our services. We were punctual, pleasant, professional. In reference to ordering & hanging the Gutter. You'd explained to Ed that numerous times the gutters had been hung but wouldn't hold on certain sections. Ed advised you if you installed fascia under the gutters that wood do the trick, except there was a whole section missing, 40 ft of gutter. He explained he would call up the Roof Center and have them custom make and deliver. Apparently, on that Thursday the 21st of June you handed him 1/2 deposit of $720 ($360 deposit) fairly reasonable for installation of fascia & gutters. it was said that him or I would contact you on Monday June 24th. I accept we did not get back to you Monday. I apologized to you on our conversation On Friday June 28th , I immediately retuned your 1st call to us. You at that point mentioned to me you'd already given a negative feed back on Angie's List, prior to hearing back for me. You did not allow for me to explain myself to you. Yes, I admit there was lack of communication. You were adamant about getting your deposit ($360)back in Cash ASAP. We made arrangements and it was delivered to you in a timely matter by Sunday June 30th by 11am Ed delivered in Cash ($360) just how you requested. We pride ourself s on bending backwards for our customers who are our friends, and feel you did not give us the opportunity to fully deliver our services to you. As you know the Roof Center no longer custom fabricates gutters, we were in the process of shopping around for companies like Rollins that I mentioned, it also rained all week long, our van was stolen with tools & all, I am cross country in California on Vacation...a series of events occurred last week. I'm not excusing this from not hearing from us til Friday, however if we analyze the timeline for events this all occurred within 9 days total, in our industry believe it or not would be considered fast turnaround. We lament that you were left unsatisfied on this occasion and ask that your review for our services be based on all the previous work we delivered to you, in which you were left Fully Satisfied with our work & not based on lack of communication issues. I do wish you luck finding a family based, punctual, professional, beyond reasonable priced handyman service company that fulfills your demands & does above & beyond your expectations. Platform Landings are not uniform, New handrail not varnished, Only one coat of stain used on exposed areas, overhead clearance code not followed. This company did not want to remove the existing stairs and built a new set over the existing one. The new stairs are a safety hazard and will not pass state inspection due to lack of overhead clearance. To fix the problem the new steps must be removed and probably the old steps as well. I have had another contractor review the work performed and he indicated that these steps in his opinion was built incorrectly and stated that he thought the work was inferior. This contractor has many years of experience and has offered to fix the problem at a price yet to be determined. I must be reimbursed at least half of the expenditures given to Suarez Services in order to get the new contractor started.

I called 6 handyman services on Angie's list. Only 2 were willing to come out and give estimates on small jobs and work for less than an outrageous minimum fee, Suarez being one of them. Ed, the technician, spoke fairly good English and gave me a fair quote. Ed showed up when he said he would to do the work and did a great job, although we had a miscommunication about what condition he would leave the patched drywall in. Once he understood, he agreed to come back and finish the job. Even though I paid him in full previously, he did return to finish the job. He decided not to complete the job when he identified a leak which I hadn't noticed. It was a very small leak, but nonetheless it would not have made sense to replaster. Ed could have finished and walked and not said anything, but he didn't. I appreciated his integrity, as he called a potentially huge problem to my attention and didn't waste his time or mine finishing a job prematurely. I recommend them highly!

Friendly service. Very clean work. Detail oriented. Cleaned up after, including overspray on the windows. Since the weather plays a big part in when this work can be done, we stayed in touch by email. Back deck is a little difficult as there's plants all around. They did a good job avoiding them. They are reliable but can't always be precise about arrival time. I have to say, I'd rather wait for good work from friendly folks than have poor workmanship from a punctual team.
