Marty, as he goes by, promised us the entire job would be done in 4 to 6 weeks. It took him 7 months. 7 months of him in our house. I could write a book on all the horrible things he did while here. Razor blade found in the toilet bowl, his helper fell off the deck and split his head open, blood and mud smears on our kitchen walls, a month later the same helper passed out in a neighbors yard and they had to call an ambulance, and excuse after excuse as to why he is not finished. Oh - and he also left the helper here by himself to do the majority of the job while my husband and I were at work. He thought we would never find out, but the helper guy told us because he was so proud of the first thing he had ever built. Horrible. On top of all this he never came back to finish the job completely. The work failed inspection and Marty won't return any of our phone calls. A lawyer told us it's pointless to sue him because he doesn't have any money to be able to pay us back. In the end we hired someone else to fix all the things done wrong and get the job ready for final inspection, which it finally passed.
