"This is the perfect client. Very kind and thankful. She had an issue with the grout that was purchased and installed. She was great and conntacting us to express herself and what she wanted done. Of course its not a lot of time for us to come back and correct it . Normally we charge because the grout was installed correctly and the manufacturer simply made a bad batch. Because of her attitute and kindness she did not and will not receive a charge for our return trip to correct the problem. It is a pleasure doing buisiness with such great people like this customer! "This member is a great client and we are greatful for your report. Regarding the C in reponsivness: Im sorry it was difficult for you to get your contract and list to us. Our system is very simple for those who use fax and email. We first receive the confirmation of purchase and within 24 hours get a contract to be signed to the client via email. most clients respond with the list and contract via email or fax within 36 Hours of the purchase. We tracked 67% within 36 hours. Then if we dont receive the contract back within 5 days we have a reminder email sent out followed by a phone call. We get about 20% of the raming to get their contract and list in within the week by doing this follow up. Amazingly still it isnt 100% . then we start receiving a few cals here and there saying they want to be scheduled so we respond within 24 hours resending the contract via snail mail or email or their{ freinds} fax machine. This is how we get the remaining people to get their contracts and lists in to be scheduled. then we have a few people call in afetr the expiration of the coupon , usually within the first week or two we honer it because they have had 3 months to schedule. She got hers in within the date of expiration and even if she didnt id still honer her coupon because she was so nice to talk to and she communicated and followed up and im sorry about the address being incorrect on the website. it is to minimize the junk mail . My contracts and proposals have the correct address. I actually have since changed the address to our new office location because of theis experiance , so the brougham address is correect now. "This is what you call the perfect client who has her home torn apart by us for the last few weeks working on her second project and not one negative word! I'm amazed at her patience and appreciation for the guys. These clients are a blessing to work for. They have been so understanding and fair when we find things that we have to correct at additional costs. The bathroom floor was completely cut through the supports and they where happy to pay for us to repair this unforeseen condition. They are very diligent in keeping track of the additional and when things aren't perfect they are a clearing for communication. I'm amazed they don't complain even though the situation could make most cry! We are very thankful to be working for them and wrapping up the second project in the next couple days, so they can continue life without us destroying and rebuilding in their home."

"Wow , This almost made me cry a few sundays ago when I read this report. Literally have been avoiding looking at the reveiws since. I love my clients and have been so lucky with great people who are thank full for our hardworking men who provide for their families by working as much as possible to get their bills paid. Every once in a great while we get a difficult client who has impossible expectations. This was one of my best Handymen named Roberto who worked 20 hours replacing exterior wood that had been neglected to rot. Roberto had upon my order brought a helper for half a day to secure his ladder and support him from the ground cutting and passing up the peices to replace the rotten wood. The Main problem with this job is that Mr David Nelson expected this work to be done in a 6.5 hour time frame with only one person. Well Expectations!! where not met. I had roberto come meet David Nelson on a monday to show him the work that was done because David Had been working and had no idea what was actually done and the time it had taken. Roberto spent another few hours describing and meeting with David Nelson without charge to clarify and exchange information. Roberto notified me that David was satisfied and would be calling to give a payment. I explained to david its not right to have one man working alone on a roof or from a ladder and the helper deserves to be paid also. Davids excuse was still after the meeting { I could have done this myself in one day} and refused to pay any more then 8 hours total for both men. He then sent me an emailing justifiying this action . { Roberto shoud have told me it was taking more then 6.5 hours time so im only paying for 8 hours total. He said in an email Im paying you only $50 for materials of the $150 we purchased and he was paying us 1.5 hours above the 5.6 hours because he felt because he was out of town and wasnt contacted that he isnt responsible for paying the hours worked at his home. He said he would have held the ladder for Roberto{ while he was out of town}. OK. Then he stated " If you agree to this by 8 pm on thursday January 26th , I will send you a check to you at your gaithersburg address for this amount and not file a complaintwith Angies List. If not I will Pursue a resolution to this matter solely through my Angies List Representative. Thank You Member. LOL my response was that same day it was a bit frusterating and i knew I was being riped off and leveraged with Angies List. I Sent a response very simple. I accept your offer accept dont send my ANY money, I dont want your money and if you send it to me , I will Donate it to Marthas Table. He sent me a check for what he offered and it was $172.50. I then paid my carpenter a day to go install cabinets for Marthas Table in Washington DC and I paid him $250 to make sure I was cleansed of Member's Money. I pray he learns to bless those around him in life because this is the only way we cn complete ourselfs and love humanity. I fully Forgive him and send him love. We learned to be more in communication about peoples Expectations and filter those with unreasonable or impossible expecations. Im thankful for every learning experiance I get from gods children. I was surprised when I saw his F ranking for price when he paid a grand Total of $491.50 For 24 hours work and $150 in Materials. Also he clearly stated if I Agreed to his Threat he wouldn't give us a bad report. Go Figure"
