Excellent work! Extremely satisfied! Work was done in a timely manner. Very knowledgeable and great craftsmanship.

Contacted Direct Handyman and responded quickly to schedule and quote. Met with Mario and discussed the work to be done, A couple of days later I got a quote which was very reasonable and agreed on the price and scheduled the job. Mario remove all of the old damaged seething and framing and replaced it with the same type of special siding (exterior sheathing) panels and frame wood. He primed and painted the wood with matching pain I provided. When replacing the siding wood he matched up the groves in the wood to match the existing siding. When he was done you can not tell the old from the new. My wife and I are extremely stisfied with his craftsmanship and attention to detail. I plan to use his services again.

Of all the providers I contacted with pictures, Mario was the only one to provide reasonable quotes. He was punctual, talked me through his work, and completed the work in craftsman-like manner in the expedited time that I requested. I ended up using him again to patch some drywall, which he also did extremely well.

Mario did great work!  Because it rained a lot before he began the project, the first day he just removed the old paint and took measurements for the pieces that needed to be replaced.  The forecast called for rain for the next several days, but Mario stayed in constant contact with us until he returned the final day to replace the wood and paint the trim. He worked carefully and efficiently. The area where he worked was spotless when he left. He was extremely professional throughout the job, and it looks fantastic! I would hire him again for various jobs around the house. 

Excellent! I love him. He was out here again last week because we had a little problem with the work he had done, but he completed it three weeks ago There was an imperfection last week and he came back and fixed that. He charged $700 for the job. He didn't charge anything to fix the little problem we had. He was very efficient, he was very friendly and very willing to work with us. He was very creative, he had a lot of ideas about how to do the job and make it very, very nice. I am really, really happy with him. I will definitely use him again.

The work done was above and beyond my expectations. Mario and his crew were terrific! I would use or recommending him again without reservation!

It worked out really well. He was really well.

All of the electrical work had been done previously, they were just doing the assembly and connection. Overal I'd say they did a great job. Everything worked correctly, and when they were done, they didn't leave a mess. They put everything that had come in the box, back in the box. There was no cleanup required on my part. Also, they were $40 cheaper per fan, compared to the other quote I received, so I saved $120

The service is great. I would recommend him.

Overall it was a good experience. I had in mind what I wanted and Mr. Guzman offered several suggestions to enhance what I had in mind. We both agreed that I would supplied the paint for the bathrooms. When he discovered the color I wanted for the bathrooms he supplied the paint for no additional charge. He also repaired other little things around my home for no additional charge.
My only cons are: (1) His starting time was 8:00. He would arrive at my home 8:30 or thereafter. (2) I asked for an estimate to paint my kitchen and install a light fixture. His estimate was way too high. I have since found another handyman to do the work.

We were facing a real time crunch because the repairs were going to be done during that stretch of 10 day of heavy rains. We agreed on the price and gave him a third down payment. We were going away for a weekend and that's when Mario started the sanding and applying the primer. According to my next door neighbor he and his assistant sanded and worked on the porch for two solid days. They reinforced the floor boards and railing. My neighbor said that on the third day they applied two coats of primer. The rains came back and we had to wait another 4 days until the rains stopped. Mario returned, we gave him a third down again and he applied two coats of paint. We asked him to put sand in the paint, it gets very slippery during the winter months. The paint dried for 4 days. Unfortunately we should have replaced the first step of the porch, it started to split. I called Mario for a third job I wanted him to do and to look at the step. He decided to replace the first step, cut a new board, put down two coats of primer and he will be paining the step next week. Mario and his assistant worked an additional 3 hours on the porch step. It did not cost me a cent. He has a one year guarantee on his work. He is currently rebuilding my side yard. He will be patching up my exterior Hardi planks shortly. This winter he will be paining over the botched interior paint job done 5 years ago. We plan to use him for the construction of our deck and other large jobs we need done in the back yard.

Cleaning of my gutters is not easy since we have a two story dormer roof with a steep roof. We called him for an estimate for cleaning the gutters and he came over and gave me an estimate. I told him that we to cover the gutters but were not sure what we wanted. He advised us on the gutters he prefers and the ones he has had to replace. I asked if he could do it and he said of course. He wrote a detailed proposal, he cleaned the gutters and I went shopping for the gutters. We eventually purchased the gutters he recommended. He returned about two weeks later, cleaned the gutters again and installed the new gutter guards. He was done in about 3 hours. By the way he gaurantes his work for a year
As for Do, do trust him. He is Insured and bonded. Mario is an excellent and very professional tradesman. He does very good work.
There are no Don'ts about Mario so far.
