He was thorough, methodical, pleasant, and answered my questions. I would not hesitate to use his services again.  I would definitely recommend him to others.

Ron arrived a little later than he estimated, but still within a reasonable time frame. We had a laundry list of small plumbing jobs that needed doing. He wasn't able to do some of them due to needing parts, but he was helpful on telling me exactly what I needed to purchase so he could do them in the future.
He was able to do everything we needed with our upstairs shower/tub, which was the most important to us anyway. I had figured out the right parts in advance so he could simply get to work. He was quick and professional. We can now choose when we want to have a bath! The flipper works, the drain is clear, and our new handles don't leak water. I was pleased with what he charged us to do the work.
I'm glad we've finally found a good plumber! We'll keep using this company for our plumbing needs.

Our hot water heater stopped working. We called several places, but most either didn't get back to us or quoted us lengthy waits. The operator at Breeden first advised us to find the make and model of our heater and then to call the manufacturer to see if our hot water heater was still under warranty. By doing this, we were able to find out that heater, while it wasn't under warranty, had a part that was known to be defective and, under the requirements of a class action lawsuit, sent us the new part free of charge. Once the part came in, the repairman came over, installed it in little time, and then was done.
Because the operator gave us such good advice, we were able to do a lot of legwork ourselves and avoid a much more expensive repair.

Ron cared about our tub problem and fixed it with pride in his profession. I liked him because he was old school with lots of experience, believed in metal over plastic for some applications, and in the power of vinegar to get rid of scale buildup on a kitchen faucet. He was a pleasant guy with everything for repair on his van and was organized. A real find! I will use him again.

Ron did a fantastic job on our master bathroom renovation.  This was a tough project.  It was a total gut of our master bathroom and enlargement of it into a closet.  The project also included replacing the existing skylight.  I highly recommend Breeden Brothers and I will recommend him to my friends and closets.

Clogged toilet that confounded any and all attempts to unclog. I called Breeden Bros. and they came the next morning. The plumber quickly and efficiently unclogged the toilet -- an empty medicine bottle had been knocked into the commode and flushed into the drain, blocking it. I will definitely use them again.

Mr. Breeden performed and completed the work on the day I called.  He was thorough and efficient.  The result was exactly what I wanted and the price very fair.

Aside from being close to an hour late on one day (and we had to call them), they did an excellent job.  The finished work looks great and they worked quickly but thoroughly - they did not take any short cuts and did solid/sturdy installations of the electric line and range.  The drywall work looks as good as new.  

In the torrential rain last night, suddenly there were leaks in my utility room.  This morning, called several roofers, but none could send anyone out for days, but one suggested I try to get a handyman instead, which lead me to Breeden Brothers.  They were able to send someone out within two hours of my call and he discovered and fixed the problem in less than 20 minutes (loose flange on an exhaust fan stack.)  He was courteous and pleasant and it was a huge releif that it wasn't any bigger a problem than it was. 

The service was excellent and prompt and professional.  The quote was generated promptly and e-mailed for a quick decision. The main handyman advised using the whirlybird roof vents over the alternatives and they are indeed working well.  My googling of the issue suggests this was good advice.  He gave the impression of knowing what he was doing.  Most of the handymen I contacted wouldn't deal with replacing the window.  He took the broken window away to be repaired by another service, boarded up the window, transferred the alarm sensor, and then brought it back when it was fixed.  I don't have concrete comparisons for the price as the other handymen I sought quotes from inexplicably never came through with them.  Apparently they didn't need work.  Anyway, my impression was that the quote was reasonable but perhaps a bit on the high side (I could be wrong).  At any rate, I was very satisfied with the service and would definitely consider them for any future projects.

They were very knowledgeable.  good customer service.  They did a really good job.

From start to finish, my experience with Ron was terrific. I plan to use his services in the future for a bathroom remodel. I would (and do) recommend him to all of my friends.

A small team, led by the owner, came in and gutted the bathroom quickly. Since it was my only bathroom, they worked around my need to have a working toilet every day although I did go elsewhere for my showers. They were able to accommodate several changes to the original idea (including a change in floor tile) and while they didn't move super fast on the job, the slowest part of the process was my fault, waiting for a vanity that ended up taking over six weeks to ship. The only issue was that there was a leak the first time I used the shower ... which would have been noticed by them if they had run the shower for a while. But they came in and fixed that ASAP and also repaired and repainted where it had leaked downstairs.

Breeden Brothers had to come by multiple times to fix the clog. And while we would have preferred them to fix it in one visit, we were very impressed at their persistence. They came by four times, including twice voluntarily on Saturday mornings, and worked until they got the pipe cleared -- some 36 feet past the drain. They did a great job!

Ron was great with the work that he did. The tile floor looks wonderful, and the dryer vent pipe has stayed on for a little over a month now with no signs of wanting to pop off again. I was surprised with how expensive it ended up being, although it was below his original estimate. I would still use Breeden Brothers again, however, since the quality of the work was great.

They are very reliable and helpful. They did what they said they were going to do. They have been in business for a long time. We used to work with the dad and I think his sons work there now and also his grandson.

I am still waiting on another estimate. I do have questions for them, but haven't yet spoke with them since the estimate. Ron Breeden came by and returned my calls promptly. He looked at the facility and asked me questions like the age of the house. He gave me good information about different tubs to consider and they were very informative. He was on time, professional and gave me the proposal in a reasonable amount of time. I had no issues.

It went well. It was a very challenging time for them to come out at that time, but Ron made it work. The quality of work is excellent. He doesn't cut any corners to do the work. We paid exactly what he told us we would.

Ron was dependable and did great work. He arrived on time and worked with my rather tight schedule to get the jobs done as quickly as possible. We had some time delays on the kitchen door due to bad weather, but someone showed up to replace the door as soon as weather permitted. His quotes for the work were fair and reasonable. One of the doors that was installed was really tight and grew very sticky when the weather warmed up and got more humid. I called Ron to discuss the problem and he came out and fixed it right away. My washing machine was leaking so I called Ron to come fix it. The plumbing issue turned out to be a lot more significant than he originally thought but he managed to repair it. He did not charge me more for the extra time and effort it took to fix it. Ron was professional and punctual and his prices are fair. I wouldn't hesitate to call him again for more handyman services.

They did come out right away when I called them to give me an estimate. I was supposed to give some information to them. I wasn?t able to give the information to them because I am going through some legal action right now with a previous contractor. However, they did respond properly to my request to come out and look. The guy who came out didn?t give me the estimate in writing because I didn?t give him other information that he needed. I didn?t do so since I didn?t get it back from the Consumer Regulatory Affair. I called to ask if they would come out. Mr. Breeden responded within 2 working days. He came out and did look at my home and did indicate what could be done and what he could do. He had to have some measurements to give me a figure. He didn?t take the measurements, but he seemed extremely knowledgeable of certain things that had not been done since it?s an old house which was built in 1927. There were areas that were open in my home. He did give me some information, but he didn?t say as to how much it would cost. I had a contractor that came in and left me with some incomplete work on our kitchen and bathroom. So, I wanted to know if he could come in to have a look at my kitchen and to tell me what was wrong with it. He needed to cut down a wall because the previous contractor had built a wall that was too high. He had put in a bathroom that was wrong and the drywall wasn?t put up right. So, he was going to have to tear down a knee wall and he had to renovate my kitchen. It also included electrical work. He said that he had an electrician that worked with him. The electrical work had already been done, but we were not too sure with the electrical work because the previous contractor didn?t pull the permit. I wasn?t aware of it, since I was in the hospital. The plumber and the electrician who had worked on the house before were supposed to pull the permit and not the home owner. I had informed Mr. Breeden that I really couldn?t do any work in this house without pulling permits. He had also indicated that there could be a problem sometimes in pulling permits in the District of Columbia. However, I insisted that the permit be pulled. Finally we didn?t follow through and we didn?t get a finished project.

He was fairly prompt. I had a fairly good experience with him as far as being professional.

Ron is a soft spoken, get to the point type of guy. I found him easy to work with. He's been doing this kind of work for years and I trusted him with my project. He and his co-worker Slim did most of the work. There was one other guy who did the electrical work. Ron was responsive and always called me back within 24 hours. This was my first renovation and numerous questions/changes of plan came up. Ron was patient with me as I made decisions and explained everything very clearly to me. He cost a little bit more than I would have liked but the final product turned out great. I had a bad experience with a previous contractor and always felt comfortable with Ron. I had all my blueprints and plans complete before I hired him. He basically executed a very specific plan for me. If you're looking to do a renovation I think that's the way to go. He's an honest, trustworthy and hard working guy.

We had a variety of tasks to be done in our older vintage house by this two-person team. Mr. Breeden and his colleague have a wide knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems and general remodeling issues,which is important in an older house that has had many previous renovations. Mr. Breeden analyzed and solved any problems encountered, explained clearly what needed to be done, and made appropriate and cost-effective suggestions. They were flexible about any time constraints I had. He gave me a reasonable time estimate and complied with it. I also appreciated that the business owner himself did a significant amount of the work and reviewed his colleague's work daily. Personable and friendly. Meticulous clean-up.
