We highly recommend RTS for anyone with mold concerns. We found what we were concerned was mold in our new house. Our realtor immediately recommended that we reach out to Paul at RTS because so many clients raved about him and his company in the past. Despite the fact that he was out of town, he offered to immediately review photos in order to provide an initial assessment. Paul later came to my home and was extremely knowledgeable, detail-oriented, and caring. He did a terrific job assessing a potential leak in our bathroom and then cleaned and treated the area. Paul then very speedily wrote a clear and detailed report with next steps and helpful recommendations on preventing mold from growing in the damp area. He had multiple conversations with us and our builder and even followed up to confirm that our builder was taking the necessary remedial measures. It is obvious that Paul cares for his clients and will take the extra time to make sure all their concerns are addressed.

I hired RTS Environmental as I was purchasing a home due to a home inspector suspecting the presence of mold within the walls of the home's basement. RTS was recommended to me by my Realtor, and I was not disappointed. I needed to coordinate with Paul prior to the inspection due to constraints placed on us by the sellers on the type and scope of the initial mold inspection, which Paul assured me could be done in a non-invasive manner. Alex showed up to perform the inspection and very quickly determined the presence of mold, both visually and through technical means. Within a couple of days following the inspection, Alex sent me a quote for a scope of work RTS expected to perform. I agreed to the work and scheduled RTS to begin the work on the day I closed on the house. The work RTS performed was extensive, but Alex kept me informed every step of the way. The crew that performed the work — Jesus, Ansony, and others — did a remarkable job, using high-quality materials, and ensuring the dust and debris from the remediation and remodeling did not enter other parts of the house. They sealed all the vents as well as entrance from the basement with plastic, and used a negative-pressure HEPA filter to direct air from the worksite outside the house. The work took approximately ten days to complete, but once RTS finished I was very happy with their work, and I rest assured that, not only has all the mold and mold damage been removed, but also that the mold will not return due to their exceptional cleaning process and choice of anti-mold materials they used for the remediation. I'd like to point out that RTS was always very communicative, and Alex frequently stopped by to check on progress and to gauge my satisfaction. Dealing with the mold infestation was a stressful time, and RTS did their best to ensure I was comfortable and satisfied before, during, and after the work.

I was told by an experienced realtor not to contact anyone else besides RTS Environmental Services, and I'm really glad I followed their advice! Initially I had them evaluate a chronic water-damaged area in the basement which resulted in some mold/mildew. Another service had already given me a rather large estimate for repair and clean up. Alex thoughtfully discussed options, made recommendations, and explained why the more extensive work proposed by the other company wasn't really necessary. The work was done quickly and well, and at a much better cost, although the quality of the work was my primary concern. As someone who used to work in the building trades, I was very impressed with the depth of knowledge, integrity, and high quality work. It's a relief to find an honest company which does such high caliber work. This is the company you need for any mold or air quality issues, I can't recommend them highly enough. AAA+++

RTS not only did a great job remediating mold that had accumulated near our HVAC system (for a very fair price) but they also made several recommendations on preventing future growth AND came back to our townhouse (free of charge) to troubleshoot and solve an unrelated problem that we had with our A/C. Not only that... they painted a bathroom door that had a bit of mold, replaced its rusty hinges, and added a door stop. We were so grateful they offered to do to solve these additional problems since we are trying to get our townhouse ready for tenants while living overseas. Their customer service could not have been better and their responsiveness is incredible!

Mr. Ramsey set up an appointment to assess my home for mold problems and worked me into his schedule as soon as possible. He was very patient and thorough and explained what was needed to clean up the mold problems he found. He gave me a detailed written report with his advice for moving forward. I was very pleased and would recommend him to others.

He was very thorough and made good suggestions to maintain a mold free home. I did not have mold in my home. I appreciated his honesty. I was concerned that if I had an unscrupulous company I might have had remediation done I didn’t need. No fear of that with this company.

I just bought a house built in 1943 and during the process of ripping out the drop ceiling suddenly thought, "Oh crap, is there asbestos in these ceiling tiles?" I emailed RTS on Sunday and they called me on Monday to set up an asbestos inspection. Paul came out on Thursday and inspected my house. He was very thorough in his explanation of the probabilities of asbestos contamination and its safe removal. He explained all of the areas of the house that could contain asbestos and explained their proper removal. As this is my first house I was really nervous to find out that their might be asbestos in it but Paul really put me at ease. Before he left he gave me a list of things that I could do to mitigate the risk of having potentially asbestos containing materials in my home. Totally worth the cost of the inspection.

It was great from the moment I called to request an appointment. Michelle, one of the owners, was very helpful and explained their process in a way that I could fully understand as a lay person. Paul, the other owner, arrived on time to conduct the inspection. He thoroughly explained how mold grows and conducted the inspection. He talked me through every step of the way and provided some very low cost, preventive tactics to prevent mold growth in the future. I highly recommend RTS!

They were very thorough, scheduled quickly and cleaned up after themselves.

We had used RTS about six years ago to remediate a mold-ridden crawl space under our family room addition.  It was a difficult and challenging job due to the tight space the crew had to work in.  Overall, they did an excellent job and we were very pleased.  A few months ago the commercial-quality dehumidifier in the space began to leak and RTS replaced it with a new, more efficient model.  In contrast to several mold remediation representatives I talked with when I was seeking bids to have our crawl space treated, Paul Ramsey is well educated, highly intelligent, and a true expert in his field. We have continued to be impressed and recommend him highly.
