1. Job was performed on time to our complete satisfaction. Mr. Robinson worked from our design and was not only
able to help translate what we wanted into the practicalities of installation, but offered additional good ideas. It was understood from the start that some fine points of installation could only be decided on as the work proceeded and the possible solutions became apparent. These decisions were not treated as costly "change orders" and did not affect the contract price.
2. Even though it was ?only? a counter top and backsplash change, there were a number of issues to be resolved, some of which were
anticipated (like the need to raise the counter height by an inch to accommodate a new dishwasher) and some surprises (like the exhaust for the old cook top not able to be aligned with the new). Mr. Robinson found solutions and executed them perfectly.
3. Storm doors were not standard size and required modification of existing brick molding to accommodate the new door frames. New doors were supplied from a major manufacturer and installed by Mr. Robinson and a helper on schedule. We are very satisfied.
Kenneth Robinson's open relationship with his clients, his knowledge of the various trades ? and the better practitioners of them, his ?perfectionism? and his long experience in proposing the best solution to a problem are strong points of his business. He is competitively priced, but not inexpensive. However, the work is done correctly and well. He also fixes any problems that
arise afterward fully and quickly.
