Thank goodness for Mastero Edgar, his family and Crew! It was a dark and stormy night in Feb 2021, icy yard and flooded basement. We had cleared our septic tank 3 months prior and the basement flooded with clean water! We had hired a plumbing company 2 nights in a row...no clear answers despite hours of work!! Then I reached Angie.. Mr. Edgars daughter , Mr. Edgar overheard me, and spoke to me at 8:45 pm... on a Saturday night !!!! He did not have to... but he did. He found the problem....the following day I watched the most synchronized orchestra by the team ! Still mesmerized by the way the work was carried out! I work in health care, I am a business woman and I love classical music! Let me tell you all, their work is innovative! My husband and I live in peace after those 3 agonizing days... knowing that there are angles out there and then there is Mastero Edgar, his family and crew! Clean, professional, affordable. Within a few hours of submitting my search in Angie's List for a company to empty my septic tank, R&E Chief Septic called to schedule the appointment and provide me with the cost. I was surprised at the quick response and immediately set up an appointment. They were on time and quickly went to work. I will definitely use them from now on!

I called 3 local companies and Angie called me back at 6 (after hours) and I left message at 5:15. I had raw sewage leaking in my house and explained issue and Edgar came out first thing in the morning the next day which was Thursday. They quickly started on Saturday. I spent $2300 but boy did they earn every bit of it. Edgar was very fair, honest and incredibly helpful. The most important thing of all is that I trusted him and he delivered on his word. I would highly recommend to everyone. Great family owned business!

Absolutely the best experience with a septic company (and we've used quite a few in the Brookeville/Olney area) From the first emergency called we placed to Angie who was amazing, to Juan who is completely knowledgeable, kindhearted and professional! They showed up exactly when they said they would and Hector and Freddy worked hard and efficiently. We are grateful for all of them and we will without a doubt be using R&E Chief Septic moving forward!

These guys were amazing. First on the phone, Angie was extremely informative, answered all of my questions and made everything super easy. Juan was extremely thorough in his analysis, recommendations, and feedback. They had to "look" for my septic tank as it was buried. They accomplished everything as promised and explained every step of the process. I would strongly recommend them to anyone needing septic service, cover installation, inspection of the septic system.

To the best of my knowledge they never responded via email or phone. I can't review a service that didn't happen. If I am mistaken, I would gladly change the review. But R&E Chief would first have to provide evidence that they did try to contact me.

My septic had been back flowing to the basement. He came and knocked down what was causing it. He inspected the tank and around it. Took his time and suggested that I get the map for the field so he can inspect that as well. When I asked him how much he just said, ‘make me a cup of coffee’ And yet previous company had asked $1500 to investigate the problem by digging. If you have septic tank let this company do it and take care of it. I have used several once and they stand out by far.

BEWARE!!! I called R&E Septic to find and empty out my septic tank for the first time in my new home. I had a map from the county inspection report with exactly where the septic tank was and it's lids (the lids are not above ground). After rescheduling my appointment TWICE they came out, dug one small hole (which did not reveal any part of the septic tank), and for some reason decided my tank was a type with 3 lids and that the middle lid they needed access to was below our sidewalk. They insisted the only way they would proceed would be if they could jack hammer up my sidewalk for a minimum of $800. I was very dubious since that was NOT what the county inspection report nor map showed and asked if they would be willing to dig a little more to find a lid. They REFUSED to proceed unless they could jackhammer up the sidewalk telling me they "didn't need my business". Thank goodness I did not proceed with them because the next company I called correctly read my county map (which shows I have a septic tank with only 2 lids) and you do NOT have to remove the sidewalk to access it!! I have never dealt with a company who was such a combination of rude, unprofessional, AND ignorant about their own "expertise"!
