K & B RESTORATIONS

Everything was completed to our expectations and their staff were very well mannered. I'm delighted with my new basement and would rehire K & B Restoration for any future projections. Everyone from the workers to the owner John are so nice to deal with and very honest . A real pleasure to find a company in this day and age that does and will keep their word! A true give star company. I highly recommend this company!

There were actually two companies involved Flood Department and K&B. They work together. I will outline the superb work of Flood Department in separate review, I will specifically detail the restoration work in this review. Our home experienced damage to ceiling, walls, floors, carpet, etc. The summary of our experience: (a) we needed to very little interaction with the insurance company. Other than contacting them and letting them in our house virtually all the communication and claims work was taken care of by K&B. In addition all billing was handled directly so we were never out of pocket (other than our deductible). (b) When the work was complete it is impossible to tell that we had a flood. I was amazed that all that damage could be restored to the original quality. While at our home all the workers were courteous and friendly. I would call them again if we had a restoration project.

All I needed was an estimate and my experience was horrible from the get-go. First, I had to wait 3 weeks for an appointment...THREE weeks! Once the estimator showed up, he seemed to be OK...appeared to be taking down all of the necessary information. I was told by the estimator that I would have a quote in 2 to 3 days as they were quite busy...OK, fine, no problem. A week later, I had heard nothing, so I called him. He tells me that they've been very busy and that he's in the office that day writing estimates and I should have mine by the next day. Two more days pass with no estimate, so I call him again. I am put on hold then cut off by the estimator. When I call back, he gives me more excuses and flat out admits that he can't locate my file. He also gives me a song & dance about how it can take 2 weeks or more for estimates when they're busy. Um, what?!?! Two WEEKS? Completely unacceptable...and I told him this. He didn't care that I felt that it was unacceptable, didn't offer to actually find my file (which I am convinced he completely lost), and I never heard anything from him again. Needless to day, I will NEVER call this company again.
