Flood Department LLC

The crew was very generous with their time, equipment and service.  I hope I never have a flooded basement again, but that's who I'll call in the event it happens.  WONDERFUL gentlemen!

The were at the house within an hour of my plumber calling them.  Jimmy and Miguel were very professional, took lots of pictures to document the damage and went right away to cleaning things up.  The pulled up carpet and disposed of the padding as well as the tack strips and baseboards, which were all saturated.  They then set up seven fans and three dehumidifiers and proceeded to dry the place out.  They came back in a few days to pick up their equipment and they were done.  They wore clean covers over their shoes so as to not track mud or water in or out of the house.
Cost:  don't know since it is being picked up by my plumber.
Would highly recommend Jimmy and Miguel for their professionalism and attention to detail.

I chose this company based on a referral from my insurance provider. The company was very responsive and professional. The dehumidifier leaked water and caused some damage to the kitchen hardwood floor. The company replaced the dehumidifier and offered to contact their flooring contractor or allow me to pick another to repair the damage. I used their suggestion, Tile Center, as they have a very good reputation.

The Flood Dept. plumbers came late in the evening, when I discovered the drip. they recommended a restoration company to break through the walls & open the area to fix the leak. After the holes were made the Flood Dept. came back & fixed the leak.

A long process that required a great deal of my time and effort. The finished product, however, is good, however.

I was pretty ignorant on what the price should be.

It was fine.  They did good work.

They helped me with a problem that I had with a rental property. They did what they said they were going to do and the tenant was happy. They had someone come in and do the drywall repair. The work was fine and I was perfectly happy with them. They came out when they said they would.

The service was horrible and, we wouldn't recommend them to anyone.
They just plain didn?t finish the job
- Our savable item were left on the front lawn.  We were told those items were to be cleaned, disinfected, and returned to the house.
- The area of our floor that was not hardwood is still covered in mud.
- There is still mold covered debris left from the removal of the flooring.
- There are obvious areas the mold has not been removed
We would like to confirm that what we were charged for was completed, but they will not provide us with the list of work that was done.

They have done a great job.  It's been a week and everything is dry.  They worked with my insurance company without me getting in the middle just yet but so far they have been very professional and helpful.
