I first crossed paths with Mike when he worked as the plumbing contractor for our kitchen remodel. Not only was he super friendly and professional, but he was also impressively efficient. He left his work areas spotless and delivered top-notch results. Honestly, I couldn't have asked for better. Fast forward a bit—our leaky faucets were driving us nuts. I had a couple of plumbers take a look, but they claimed both faucets needed replacing and quoted sky-high prices. I wasn’t ready to part with that much cash, so I let it slide… until the annoyance became unbearable. That's when I called Artisan (and Mike to the rescue). Mike came out, assessed the situation, and gave me the refreshing news: a repair would be much more affordable than a replacement. He ordered the necessary parts, returned, and worked his magic. One of those leaky culprits was in our garage, causing a soggy mess whenever we used the hose. Post-repair? It worked perfectly—no leaks, no mess. We’ve been loving that faucet ever since! But wait, there’s more! When one of our toilets started acting up, I turned to Mike once again. Over the phone, we discussed our choice of toilet (thanks to some research on our part), and Mike confirmed it was a high-quality option. He took care of the order, came over for the install, and got it up and running in no time. It works like a dream. Mike is a rockstar plumber, and I can’t recommend him highly enough. He’s reliable, skilled, and honestly, a lifesaver when it comes to all things plumbing.

MIke is just great!!! We used him on a MBR remodel and he was excellent! Last week we had him replace 2 toilets. He is friendly, prompt, does and excellent job and is thorough!

He also checked around the house to see if there were any other plumbing issues. I highly recommend Artisan Plumbing and I am already thinking of new projects for the future!

One person came out and it took 30 minutes. They didn't screw anything up. There isn't anything they didn't do well.

Highest praises to Mike & Paul at Artisan Plumbing, called them when I discovered a sump pump problem.  They showed up same day, ended up replacing the pump to be on the safe side.  Very reasonable, quality work, will definitely work with them again in the future.

Mike was quick to respond, and had a new pump on hand, in case replacement was needed.

Artisan does great work and is very responsive when you call. Dave's pricing is very reasonable and he and his plumbers do very professional work. While I don't love having to get a plumber for anything, Artisan is the company I call when I need one.

Mike arrived promptly. His truck is well organized and stocked. He used a drop cloth everywhere he went. He is organized and cleans up as he works. He worked steadily for the full four hours that he was at my home. He did not mind my watching him work. Mike was meticulous in his work and the final installation was flawless. He diagnosed and fixed a problem with a tub diverter valve in only a few minutes. I believe that I received an excellent value for my the money expended.

I discovered that a faulty relief valve in my 11 year old hot water heater had given out after receiving ridiculously high quarterly water bill. I was referred to Artisan Plumbing through another trusted contractor. David Adams, the owner of Artisan, was extremely busy but he made the effort to see me the same day after Loudoun Water helped me trouble shoot the location of the leak. Given that I was leaking 10 gals/hr, I was very appreciative to David. He came arrived around 7 pm and immediately diagnosed the exact problem on the water heater. He gave me my 3 options - 1) replace the valve 2) replace valve and add pressure relief bladder 3) replace hot water heater (HWH). Given the age of the HWH, I elected to just replace rather than do an interim fix and then have something else go bad in the next year or so. David had his team out the very next morning and replaced the HWH. His team was excellent. There were professional, polite and neat. Took off their shoes before entering the home. Laid protective drop cloth to protect the floor and carpet. Hauled away everything and left no debris or mess in the utility room. Very happy with the quality of their work and their willingess to answer all my questions.

Definitely would use them again. This is now our second experience with Artisan. Very professional, prompt, explains the work that he will perform, and makes very good recommendations.

Everything was fantastic! Found a pipe leaking at my business this morning. Called Artisan Plumbing and they were there in about an hour and had the pipe fixed within 2 hours.

The hot water heater was very complicated and he had no problem installing it. He is polite, efficient, quick, and very professional. I also liked that he was on time.

Dave Adams was recommended to us who had him do plumbing work when they finished their basement. He was absolutely wonderful to work with. He gave us a very detailed proposal, which was a very good price compared to a couple of other quotes that we got before deciding who to use. He took care of getting the permits and arranging for the inspections. He took the time to explain everything that had to be done and showed us what he had done at each stage. He coordinated each move with us and with the electrician and the carpenters so that the entire operation went smoothly. He was here when his work was inspected and demonstrated the soundness of his work for the inspector. He finished when he said he would and cleaned up each day. The bottom line is that he gave us tremendous confidence in his work.

Mike started the project and finished in the time frame that he estimated even when he had to spend some time improvising the kitchen cabinetry framing to get our new dishwashing machine to fit inside an opening that had held our older, smaller machine. He was very careful of his work and left us without any debris or clutter. We had asked him to return to the house to re-arrange the gas line behind our new range so we can get a better fit of the appliance against the back wall; he didn't charge us for that work. We would hire him again for any plumbing work.

He came back and fixed it within 24 hours of me calling him. I spent $400 on the installation of the toilet, but when he fixed the flaw I did not pay anything. He was very nice professional and business-like. He came in and worked really fast and was on time. I would tell others that he is the ideal person to call if they had a problem with their plumbing. His company is a few miles from here.

Our kitchen sink had been backing up and draining very slowly for more than one week. I tried augering it myself, which slightly improved things, but it still needed help. I called Mike on the recommendation of two friends. He provided an estimate of $125-150. I tried to get a couple more quotes, so it was a day and a half later before I got back to him. He scheduled a visit for the following day and arrived on time. He completed the job in about an hour. It was a simple clog, which he augered out, but in addition, he traced the drain line through our basement and identified a negative gradient that might have led to the clog in the first place. He fixed the gradient by shimming up the drain line. So though the final price was at the top end of the range, he did more than he was called out for. He was very polite and left the kitchen as neat and clean as he found it.

He came within a day or two and took out the old toilet and replaced it with a new one. This took about 35-45 minutes. He had a toilet he carried and recc and it works superbly [and get rave reviews other places online, The American Standard Cadet comfort height]. This is not the "Lexus" of toilets, it's the "Corolla", and it's a great toilet at a great price. I was plunging the old Ejeir 2 times a week at least. His price was very competetive, about 200 less than some other quotes. He was cordial but all business. He left the toilet area ridiculously clean really!
