Mover dude packing crew mixed rooms together. Made it difficult to unpack. Moving crew that picked up our stuff to go to storage were very personable and efficient. However, the person that gave us our estimate did not give us accurate information. We were told that the company did not use contracted labor. They said also crews were employees of mover dudes. Not true. Our furniture was unloaded by one mover dude and three contracted laborers. Also, we scheduled the delivery of our furniture to coincide with settlement on our new house. Mover dudes showed up on the date and time. Unfortunately, they delivered someone else’s furniture-not ours. They had to come back the next day with our furniture. Mover Dudes office staff very difficult to reach when you have a problem. Don’t answer or return calls. We had to get the truck driver to call in order to get a response. Finally, several pieces of our furniture were damaged. We are in the process of filing a claim. Mover Dudes did not offere any compensation for the mistake on the delivery and when asked about the contracted labor admitted they “occasionally “ use contractors. If we had know we would have chosen someone else.
Description of Work: Sold our house and moved all furnishings to storage and then to our new house
