WARD ELECTRIC

Mr Ward responded to our request for service the same day he was called. He arrived when he said he would. His was fast and he was very professional in his service. We plan on using him again for future work.

Got everything done in under an hour and supplied the batteries too. His price was exactly what he said it would be on the phone. He arrived exactly when he said he would. He also gave me some tips on maintaining the smoke detectors. He was very helpful and professional. Worked out very well. I would definitely call him again. He was all business, but very personable.

The lights and outlets in our bedroom had stopped working. We were able to set up a time that worked for both of us and they were right on time, worked in a very methodical way to diagnose and then fix the problem. I then had them install a new exterior outlet. They were able to run off an existing plug in our finished garage without cutting any drywall. Our house has a brick exterior and they were able to cut the brick and install a flush mounted unit. It was very nicely installed. I appreciated the time that they took to explain why the one circuit had failed and why it was a one time occurrence and shouldn't happen again, but signs to watch for in case something else should happen.

This was a do-it-yourself project that my friend and I did. I finished off our basement many years ago. We had done everything right, or so we thought. Somehow, one of those evenings, we mis-wired one of the recessed lights in our basement. It never worked, and since I couldn't figure out why, we just left the bulb out of it for several years. Now we're selling our home and the inspector flagged us on it and required that it be repaired. A friend of mine has used Ward Electric for the past several years for their business needs, so I contacted them and set up an appointment. He came at the set time (was actually a few minutes early) and looked at the light. He asked us who did the wiring for the light and when I told him my friend and I had, he looked at me and we both laughed. He wasn't critical and was very light hearted about our error. He fixed our light and checked out the other wiring as well. There aren't many people out there that make you feel at ease and don't judge a home improvement project gone bad. I now know why my friend hires Ward Electric for all his business needs. Reliability, honesty and integrity. I was a pleasure to do business with them. Since I'm new to Angie's List I asked him if we could put him on and tell our experience with him. He agreed, so that's my story.

Price was included in the remodel job, but he is worth every penny. He was great.
