About us
Two Brothers is a small family owned plumbing company. It is owned and operated by Paul and Mitzi Mitcham. Paul grew up in a family of plumbers and has been plumbing for over 26 years. We are licensed with WSSC, MHIC, and Frederick County. We service all of Montgomery County, lower Frederick County, and parts of Carroll and Howard Counties. We do up front pricing. There is a $49 charge to cover our travel expenses, which is waived if you like our price. We have built our business with word of mouth and quality service. We are very excited to have been referred by a customer to Angie's List!

Had to come back twice because did not do original job correctly (not done to code). Had to pay twice for their mistake. Overcharged. Ultimately done well, but took more time and money than necessary.

Paul responded quickly to our emergency plumbing call -- he showed up fast, was extremely kind and courteous, and worked quickly to identify and fix the problem while keeping us well informed. He was a pleasure to work with, and the quality of his work is high. We really appreciated his professionalism and his willingness to come out on short notice at night. Highly recommend him for any plumbing work!

He did a good job. He put the camera all the way down at the end of the job it was clear. Hopefully, it won't happen again. He did a very thorough job. I hate having to pay all that money but it was a disgusting work. I was just surprised with the camera rental but he needs the camera to see whats going on. He was good with what he's doing. He is nice and professional.

We woke up on the morning of June 11, 2014 to no hot water. My previous plumber had switched to HVAC work so I needed to find someone new. I immediately checked Angie's List and gave Two Brothers Home Services a call at 7:50 a.m. I left a message explaining the problem and stated that this wasn't an "extreme" emergency. I was surprised to get a call back at 7:58 a.m. Paul said that he could be there around 2:00 p.m. He showed up at 1:30 p.m. accompanied by his summer assistant (his son). They were extremely friendly and professional. He determined that the lower element in the water heater had gone up. Since this was still under warranty, he contacted the manufacturer's representative he deals with and was able to replace the part at no cost to me. I only had to pay for the hour's labor.
Paul also fixed a leaking flapper in our upstairs bathroom while he was there. He patiently took the time to show me how to do this so I could do it in the future myself. He offered advice about not using Clorox toilet drop-ins as these can cause flappers to deteriorate faster than they would under normal conditions.
Needless to say, our plumbing problems were fixed in a very timely and efficient manner at a very reasonable price. I've definitely found a plumber for all our future needs. I would highly recommend Two Brothers Home Services for all your plumbing needs!

I ended up having to do more than I thought and they provided us good service. My daughter use their service too. They're responsive and they came out pretty fast and their prices are reasonable.

I am fairly handy myself, but for the price Two Brothers charged and quality job they did, I could not have done it myself. First of all, they gave me a time when they would arrive and they showed up at that time. I did not have to wait around for them. There were two men that showed up, the plumber and his helper. They asked where the unit was and where the electric breaker box was. I showed them and they went right to work, removing the old water heater and putting it on their truck. If I had done the job myself, this would have been difficult - just transporting the old water heater to the dump! Next they brought in the new water heater. He explained that it had a higher capacity then the old and that, with 4 adults in the house, I would not be running out of hot water like I had the old unit. He had a little trouble with the drip pan that goes under the hot water heater. It was so deteriorated with age that it crumbled. He tried to install a standard replacement pan, but the closet where the water heater is installed did not allow enough room for the replacement. Instead of making me wait until he could order a special pan, he used a shower pan to create a deeper pan the fit the space. This solution was superior to the original drip pan as it was deeper and would not rot out like the old pan. He then installed the new water heater and attached the pipes and electric wires. At all times he was neat and courteous. He put down a drop cloth that extended well beyond his work area and covered the old water heater when he and his helper carried it out to the truck. I was very impressed by the way he completed the job, kept the area neat and useable during the work and answered my question without making me feel like I was bothering him. I would highly recommend him and will certainly call him again next time I need plumbing work.

They put the vanity and fixtures in and we found that there were gaps all around the bottom of the vanity. In order to fix this we'll have to remove the vanity which is difficult as they glued the vanity to the back splash and the wall.
