This family- owned company is a pleasure to work with. In recent years we have asked them to design and install ductwork for a downdraft gas cooktop, provide and install a new A/C system with new plenums, provide annual service for our two A/C systems. They are a cheerful, thoughtful, hardworking group. Most recently Andy did our A/C service and a piping repair. He arrived on time, put on his hospital-style shoe covers, asked a few questions and got to work. When he was done he explained the work he had done. All at a reasonable price.

Andy Baker explained the job to me and a few days later replaced the flue pipe. I was getting a new roof, so I needed the work done promptly before the roof could be replaced. I assume everything looked okay because the roofers had no comments about the new flue pipe.

It was nice working with Andy on a project I had in mind for a couple years - installing a fan to our master bathroom and putting proper ventilation duct work in our attic for this and another bathroom on the same floor. Not all HVAC companies do this sort of thing, and I never had obstacles with Andy and his company requesting this service. Overall, estimating was done over email and the work itself was handled in 1 day. Happy with the finished product and the duct work in the attic was well-sealed (we have vents on the side of the house). And I can say in using the bath fan in the master bath, that it is doing a great job handling the hot air - no more steamed up mirrors or added moisture. Thanks Montgomery Sheet Metal for your help!

Jason has been maintaining our aging AC system and gas furnace since we moved into our house in 2011. The systems were both over 25 years old when we moved in, so we knew we were on borrowed time. Jason kept everything running for the past three years, and he always kept us appraised of the current condition of the systems. This year, it was finally time to replace the furnace, so we decided to replace both systems to save on the installation costs. Jason worked with us to discuss the many options?he researched available rebates, looked into differences in product warranties, and helped us find something that was within our budget. 
When it came to the installation, he worked with us to find a day and time that fit our schedules and took steps to minimize the time needed for the replacement?he came a day early to complete some of the measurements and start on some of the removal work during my lunch break. On installation day, Jason and his team completed the work ahead of schedule. They were all courteous, removed their shoes to avoid tracking dirt into the house, and were professional and personable. After the installation, they thoroughly cleaned the work area, explained the new systems, and made sure everything was working. 
We've been using Montgomery Sheet Metal for the past three years, and plan to use them as long as we live in their service area. I have already recommended them to friends and colleagues, and I'll continue to do so in the future.

Each time Jason came right away and fixed the problem immediately. He is personable, explains things clearly and does not try to upsell. I always feel like I have been treated fairly and I trust his opinion on HVAC matters. I would not hesitate to use them in the future.

Jason came out and cleaned out some debris that had gotten into the condensation unit. I'm not sure if that accurately describes the process. All I know is that in very little time our furnace was up and running!

They always showed up right when they said they would. They worked together like a well oiled machine. Some days there were as many as five mechanics in the house. I was really impressed with the low level of noise and dust. They were very careful around our possessions and made every effort to accommodate us. They made a very complex project look relatively easy, to me the mark of real pros. They remained upbeat on the toughest days, even after hours in the attic! Overall, a very positive experience especially considering the concerns we had when it started.

We were very pleased with this company and will use them again. Andy originally came out and was very honest saying it was not necessary as the old duct worked. It had bothered us for years as it was clearly rotted out. We previously had other company's out, one who patched it with tape (which we were not pleased about) and others refusing as it was a smaller job. We waited about a month as we didn't need it done right away and they were busy with the heating season started. When I contacted them again, Andy and his helper (also very nice) came out to take measurements and remove the old duct. They temporarily put up flex duct to make sure we had heat. They came back two days later (they offered next day but it did not fit with my schedule) and put in the custom made parts. We are very pleased with the extra headroom and how neat/clean the ducts look. It is a very noticeable difference.
Jason also came out and checked/cleaned our furnace. He had lots of helpful and appreciated advice on how to maintain it. He also gave us a clear and detailed bill (which was what they originally quoted) explaining the work preformed with some of the suggestions on it. We will probably get their service plan based on today's experience in the spring given our system is getting on older (but still functional) and we like it serviced twice yearly. Jason also understood load calculations, which other company's we talked to in the past, just guessed. We thought our units were undersized and apparently they are oversized, which was good to know.
I cannot speak to the price for the duct work. Normally i get many bids, but after Andy came and had a clear understanding and willingness to do what I wanted, I decided to use this company. It seemed reasonable given the scope of work/two trips (not including original visit of no charge). Their cleaning/ maintenance seemed similar to previous companies we used in the past (only difference was they didn't insist on a coupon for the reasonable price).
I wish more companies were like this. They were helpful, reliable, professional, friendly and most importantly, understood what we wanted and completed it with no issues.

I think that they are great. They come as soon as possible when I call. They come when they say they are going to. They are meticulous and clean. They are wonderful.

My furnace died and I called a well advertised company for an estimate. They were exorbitantly priced and wouldn't even suggest anything cheaper. I was devastated as I am retired and living very frugally. I talked to my neighbor who is a builder and he recommended Andy Baker of Montgomery Sheet Metal. Andy came right over and did measurements and gave me a wonderful estimate and a date and time his company could do it. His crew showed up on time and on the date they said they would. The crew was remarkable; they were polite, quiet, respectful and quick, not even stopping for lunch. I felt like I was in an ad from Sears back in the 1950s. Swift polite and knew what they were doing. I am so grateful to have found this company and would highly recommend them as they seem to have the values of the old America of service, concern for their work and their products. Andy made it possible for me to heat my home this winter and restored my faith that there are wonderful people out there.

I called and was able to get an appointment for the next day. They performed the regular service. They were polite and professional. They remembered things about my heating and cooling from their last visit! They were very thorough. They explained everything and the price was very reasonable. They're great!

They're clean and neat each time they come out to service our units. They use to booties and drop cloths to keep the areas clean. They always explain what exactly what they're doing, which I really appreciate. It's been a pleasant experience working with them.
