Mr. Jamison and two crew members arrived early and finished the work in short order. The Maple trees were expertly pruned for looks and to reduce density of internal branches. The trees look much better and appear to be more healthy.

Hired Jamison Tree Service for tree removal and trimming.  They were awesome, professional, experienced, efficient, polite and courteous, and cleaned up nicely.  Jamison Tree Service were able to accomplish all of the items on my list.  Definitely will have them back in the spring. Highly recommend this tree service company; very impressed with their work.

The work went fantastic, from start to finish.  They started the job and didn't stop until it was done.  John Jamison is a true professional in tree removal work.

John Jamison came out, looked the job over and gave me a written estimate.  I called and was able to schedule the work imediately.

Three men showed up at the arranged time.  One of the men went up the trees, removed branched and dropped them to the second man who hauled to the chipped.  The third man fed the branches into the chipped.  They worked steadily and efficiently for about 7 hours and cleaned up everything with rakes and leaf blowers.  One returned the next day with the a stump grinder and worked all morning grinding up the stumps and again cleaning up any mess.

John has done tree work for us several times. The first two were large tree removals and stump grinding and the most recent job was on a more urgent post-storm clean up. He was great each time. The prices were very fair, he came when he said he would, he did everything he promiseed and, actually a little extra each time. We will definitely call him again.

I contacted them through Angie's List. I actually contacted them first for an estimate about a year ago. They were pretty prompt with getting me an estimate. Their estimate was very reasonable. When we decided to have the work done this summer, at that point it was just removing the tree stump and this time it was removing the bushes and the tree stump. They called and had an estimate within a few days from the first time I talked to them. Then they were able to come out and do all of the work later in the week.

This included trimming, bringing bamboo back to life. He does annual/bi-annual pruning. His prices are very reasonable. I have been using him for about six years now.

The crew of 3 (including owner) arrived at time specified in morning and worked efficiently and carefully. They finished the job by the late afternoon. I was very pleased with their work and would hire them again.

John Jamison (owner) arrived promptly for the estimate. Gave us a written estimate the same day that was substantially below a competitor. We signed the contract the same day, and scheduled the job for the following week. John and his crew arrived promptly and quickly went to work. The first day, they cleaned fallen leaves and debris as they worked (the yard was probably cleaner than when he arrived). We added the two bushes to the job after the holly tree was removed. In doing so, John discovered that yellow jackets had nested within our siding. He returned that evening and sprayed the nest. John returned the next day to gring the huge stumps of the poplars. He also removed the bushes even though the yellow jackets were still buzzing around. Again, all debris was removed. John figured the bill and added a 5% discount for Angie's List even though it wasn't in the original contract. All in all, this was a great experience. John was friendly, polite and prompt, as were the members of his crew. I highly recommend this company.

I got quotes from two A-rated companies on Angie's list. The first gave me a quote of $1950, which became $1855 with his 5%-off Angie's list coupon. Mr. Jamison gave me an itemized quote of $1795, then said he would give me his daily rate ($1350) since it could be done all in one day. He brought two helpers, a big chain saw, a chipper, and a cherry picker. One of the jobs took much longer than expected. They worked straight through (and very efficiently) from 9:15 to 5:45, finished everything, and cleaned up thoroughly. They were friendly and professional.

Mr. Jamison was extremely polite and professional. He also ground and removed a small stump that was not in the original contract. The yard around the oak tree that was removed was raked and very clean. A job well done.

Great. I had called for an estimate and the owner came out right away. After reviewing I decided to go with Jamison Tree Service. After watching how much time, effort and precision is put into taking very large trees down in a wooded area, I was in awe. They were very professional, friendly and there was not a moment wasted. Once the work was completed they cleaned the site and even used a blower to remove any debris that was left. I highly recommend this company.

Everything went extremely well. They showed up in two trucks (one with a basket) and went straight to work. It was clear that John Jamison knew exactly what he was doing. He explained the plan and started cutting. The trees came down with only a small dent in the ground. Where the tree was close to a fence, the took it down in pieces, not hitting anything. They cleaned up everything and left the yard looking even better than when they started. The stump grinding took almost as long as the cutting because they did such a great job. One of the stumps was on a hill and he cut it down far enough that nothing was left showing. When they left, all that remained was a nice large pile of stump chips, perfect for mulching!

John was a real find. Now all my neighbors use him too. He is extremely knowledgeable, very responsive and polite. His pricing is excellent. He does wonderful work and always cleans up when he is done.
