Antonio on the phone was great with the set up and kept me informed throughout the process. The staff who did the work were friendly ,we’ll versed in the process, performed at a high level of efficiency. They left me with furniture that looked new. They did overestimate how long for it to dry...it took twice as long. Definitely will be a repeat customer

I almost didn't post this review because the technicians who came to do the work were so lovely, did their best, and can't be blamed for any of this. However, the couch we had cleaned looks almost just as bad as it did before (they said when they came they might not be able to get everything out, but there is almost literally NO difference), and the smell of the chemicals that were used is AWFUL. We've had the windows open all day and I can still barely stand to be in the same room, much less sit on the couch. Total waste of money and I'm fearful this smell is never going to go away completely!

Tech was late due to truck break down but he made up for it by doing a fantastic job!

Great! It was pricey but the workmanship and professionalism were on par. These pieces deserved extra attention. When you buy expensive furniture they require specialized expertise and it costs money. All the funky smells are now gone

Very well. Fernando was friendly and professional. The love seat looks great. The sofa couldn't be cleaned because of the fabric code, so he cleaned two chairs instead, which was greatly appreciated!

There were two rooms that I had them clean and do the pet deodorize on.

They did an excellent job. Technician was very thorough and carpets look great!

Foot traffic over the years caused a dark wear pattern. The cleaning was able to lighten the walkway and made the surrounding carpeting brighter.

It took about an hour an hour and a half.  They did some spot removal.

My wife and I were moving and once the house was cleaned out, needed someone to come in and clean the upstairs carpets to include the stairs and hallway. Academy Chem-Dry arrived on time and had the job completed in about 90 minutes. The house had no furniture so they had full range of each room. The work was completed but because of the carpet on the stairs was still damp from cleaning, I couldn't go up and check the quality of the work before the technician departed. I stopped by the next day and was a bit disappointed in how it turned out. The carpet was clean but didn't have that "cleaned" look with the fibers standing up. The carpet is only four years old so I expected the finished appearance to have a more rejuvenated look that what it did. It also bothered me the technician used what looked like a 40-year old spinning rusty looking floor buffer like they had when I was in the Navy. I was expected some more advanced gear seeing this was supposed to be a better process. The buffer was so heavy, I had to help the technician lift it over the garage steps to get it into and out of the house as he was having trouble lifting it by himself and I didn't want him dinging the hardwood floors by accident. I took a chance on this because my regular carpet cleaner was not available and now I wished I had waited.

The technician showed up on time and did an excellent job. He first measure the space to make sure we were within the square footage of the Angie's list deal. He then vacuumed all rugs and then cleaned the carpets including a squeegee like tool used to scrub the rug as needed. The rug dried quickly.

They removed the existing padding under the carpet. They then treated the stained areas. We also had them clean the entire basement.

Set up a day and time with Laura on the phone. Bruce called 15 min BEFORE scheduled arrival, saying he was stuck in traffic and may be a little late. Arrival was about 15 min late, but the call was much appriciated, so won't downgrade punctuality for that. He quickly surveyed my VERY dirty sofa, and gave what turned out to be an on-the-money appraisal of how clean he could get it, along with a price. Took about 45 minutes all told, and came out as expected. Nice guy, excellent work, very respectful of my home and property. Price reflects 20% off just for mentioning Angie's.

went well, some spots came back and they didn't hesitate to come back and re-clean.

Mr. George the owner was very nice and personable when he came out to give the estimate. The cost was a bit high but I am told it was a very reasonable rate. I used to do my own carpets before illness struck so I have to trust in others now.

The technician arrived promptly and he again was very personable and super nice. I could not have been in better hands.

I noticed about 2 weeks after the treatment that the odor returned. I was a bit disappointed but I know they did their best and so I followed up with a cleaning of my own using a solution that was mild as Mr. George pointed out that harsh soaps take the color out of the carpet and I used cold water as again I learned that hot water actually sets the stain in.  If the odor returns I will do as Mr. George suggested and replace the padding under the carpet.

I am also retraining my dog! I have to be honest I believe I received excellent care and service from Chem Dry but I may have waited a bit too long before I called them.

Perfect!! I used an Angie's List Deal. Larry and Fernando came to my home and did a knock out job on my carpet. I had all but 2 rooms in my house done. Both were extremely professional and courteous and it didn't take them long at all to get the job. I am very pleased and would absolutely recommend Academy Chem-Dry... more specifically, Larry and Fernando. Great job!!
