+ -1 moreThis could not have gone any better. Everything was handled extremely well. I never once felt the need to hop on a plane to deal with complications (though friends and family thought that I should). Carmel Llewellyn went way, way beyond the call of duty to make sure everything went well for us. The other two realtors involved didn’t even lift a finger to help. In fact, the seller of the Frederick, MD property commented that he never heard from his realtor after papers were signed. However, Carmel was there getting multiple quotes for the roof replacement and worked with the seller personally. If you need a realtor to help you buy or sell a home, you couldn’t do any better than work with Carmel Llewellyn. She is the best.
Description of Work: I was unable to be present for either the selling of our Montgomery County, MD home or the purchase of our new home in Frederick, MD. Our realtor, Carmel, treated both as if she were dealing with her own personal property. The house we sold turned out to need considerable repairs before closing. She found competent repair companies, received multiple quotes for work, and oversaw the completion. This included electrical, masonry, and site grading to deal with basement water issues. She kept on top of the contractors and while keeping me informed on the status of things as well. When decisions were needed, she asked what I wanted to do. The house we bought in Frederick, MD also needed repairs. She juggled the work on both properties so well, that settlement on both was within a week of each other.
