Cheyenne was awesome. I broke off key in my cars trunk lock, did not have spare key. Managed to get broken piece out of lock. Took it to Cheyanne, she McIvyered something with both pieces, cut new keys, cloned chip from original key. Works great,she went above & beyond my expectations. Would patronize there for all my key needs. Great experience

They did a good job and he was very professional. They were prompt. I called them and they were here two days later. I mentioned to the guy that was the second Kwikset lock that had went back. He was very knowledgable and explained that Kwikset changed their format and have been causing a lot of problems. I contacted them and they sent me two brand new locks for only the cost shipping. Because of his knowledgle, I was able to have the locks replaced at little to no clost.

The technician arrives at the agreed upon time and removed the lockset. It's German-made and he found that he didn't have the proper equipment to re-key it. That had to be ordered. When the part arrived, Crest Lock contacted me and scheduled the appointment. The technician was prompt, very professional and completed the task very quickly. All and all, a very good experience.

No business is perfect. Excellent businesses acknowledge their problems and fix them promptly. Once we all got on the same page it went very well.

Crest Lock Co. responded immediately to my request and set up an appointment to survey the house and offer potential security solutions. Mr. Serbeck arrived on time, provided thorough insight on my requirements and, once I decided on a plan, immediately set to ordering the parts for a quick installation. In the lag time between the order and the parts delivery for the alarm, Mr. Serbeck sent a team member out to re-key the locks and install the new locks. The team member was on time, courteous, and did an excellent job installing the new locks - though the locks incorporated new technology, the blended nicely with the current facings and one can hardly tell they are not organic to the property. Once the alarm came in, Mr. Serbeck sent two excellent technicians to install and sync the alarm system with the automated lock. Like their colleague, the technicians were on time, courteous, and spent an appropriate amount of time training me on the system and the online interface. After installation, when Crest Lock Co. identified the SIM module in my alarm system was not getting a strong enough signal (based on the carrier service area), the technician came back, trouble-shot the issue, and installed a new carrier module at no cost to me. As with the introduction of any new technology, I had "growing pains" and questions on use -- and when I called Crest Lock Co. to speak with Mr. Serbeck or his associates, they were always helpful and quickly answered my concern/question. Crest Lock Co. is a local company which I'm happy to support - I appreciate their personal service, excellent communication, and high level of performance.

One morning our front door knob came off in my hand. This had happened before and my husband had been able to fix it, but it always happened again. So this time I called Crest Lock, found on Angie's List I think. The service man came out that same day and drilled through the pins to affix them and make the knob functional until he could research replacement parts. It is a very old locking mechanism that may not even exist today - dead bolt at top, pitcher handle paddle outside with knob inside at bottom, and two buttons in the door jam to set it as lock or unlock. Replacement of the entire mechanism, if it is even available to fit, would have been in the neighborhood of $500-$1000 just for the parts. And our door and door jam would have most likely had to have been modified, adding to the cost. At that point you start thinking about just replacing the whole door!

After the temporary fix I was contacted about a week later by Crest Lock - the technician had located a new door knob part that would work, for a cost of $75! Now, this company could clearly have made this into a bigger job because what I have is just not available any more. But they were honest, and as cost-conscious as they could possibly be. The same technician came out and installed the new knob and it works better than ever. All fixed.

Friendly to work with, explained all details, invoices and proposals sent and approved by email - all very simple. I would recommend this company to everyone!

The work was done as promised and on a timely basis. We are pleased with the results and we would use this company again.

I called and left a message after 5 and received a call from the office the next morning about 8:45. The lady said she could have a tech at my home within the hour. I had said in my message that it was not an emergency, so this was good news. She explained the charges, and asked details about what kind of lock I had. The tech (Bill) arrived about 10:00, and went right to work, asking questions about the lock. He was able to replace the latch, which meant I didn't have to get a new lock and have it rekeyed, which would have cost a lot more. When he was done, he had me turn the lock to make sure I was happy with it. He then took my credit card out to his truck to write up the ticket. He must have had to wait to get in touch with the office, because it seemed to take longer than necessary to do that. Bill was very polite and efficient.

The technician did a fantastic job, showed up within a half hour of the expected time (they had the wrong address written down), assessed the situation and kept the antique nature of my door even with a new lock on it. He cleaned up so well I couldn't tell he'd been there. He was polite, knowledgeable and thorough, tested the locks before leaving and stayed while I tested them as well. The company dispatcher was very friendly and accurate with her estimate of cost. The only thing that hurt a bit was the charge for the travel time, as I live in Carroll County. I'd choose them again though because they were professional and did a good job.

Very well. The technician examined both locks and explained what repairs were necessary. He answered my questions lock products and their cost, and installation of a new mortise lock. They could not estimate the cost up front, but the final price was very fair.

It went very well. Robin who schedules the appointments was most accommodating and courteous. The technician was well trained and knowledgeable. Because the house and its doors are old, I had a little trouble locking and unlocking two of the newly installed locks and cylinders. When I called to report this, the company immediately sent a technician over to address the problem. However, a few days later, there still was a problem with one of the locks. The original technician returned and corrected all of the problems. This was all covered under the warranty. I have not had any other problems since.

We had Crest Lock come out to give us an estimate. We paid $30 for the estimate that would be deducted from the cost of the project if we went with them. The guy that came out was knowledgeable, but not that helpful in terms of recommending solutions from a security perspective. Once we decided to get the work done with them, they were quick to get us scheduled (within 2-4 days). Overall we were happy with their service and professionalism. The 2 locks that were installed were billed at cost ($55 each) and were included in the $270 total.

The locksmith was on time and professional. He was also very honest. When he discovered that we did not need a reeking because we had the needed key already, he told us. He also reduced the charge for the time he unsuccessfully tried to copy the key for us.

Technician arrived 20 min late. First set of keys did not work reliably in all locks. Technician had to rework one of the locks.

Jim was on time, did the work efficently and explained the problem. Even though he took one hour to determine the complicated problem, he charged the quoted rate of $61 that was given me over the phone for an estimated 30 minute job. The parts were ordered and he came back the following day to make the repairs. Parts and labor for the second call were $94. This was much less than the $400 estimate by another locksmith co. last year who told me I needed an entire new set of locks and hardware.
