"I'm a little confused as to why you waited 18 months to post this confusing review. The new Cub rider you ordered in 12/2018 was delivered to you, when we received it, in 4/2019, with no issue. While there, you asked us to take in your old Sears rider that needed a lot of work (it was in parts). As you had just been put on our "Spring Pick-Up" list, because of the new unit, we agreed to pick up & deliver the unit, at NO CHARGE TO YOU; the area in which you live is out of our pick-up/delivery area. After inspection we told you of the work needed & cost; you advised us to proceed. The following work was completed: Degreasing. Installation of customer-supplied hood parts, deck wheels & brackets, and front deck roller. The oil filter was leaking, so we installed the oil filter you gave us & changed the oil. The right side head gasket & valve cover seal were blown, & were replaced. The breather hose and grommet were replaced. The carburetor assembly would not take an overhaul, as the gas in it was old and had gummed it up, so we replaced it, and the gaskets. The fuel tank was full of extremely old gas; it was flushed & the fuel filter replaced. The air & pre-air filters were filthy and were replaced, as was the missing air filter cover plate. The fouled spark plug was replaced. We checked the belts & found the transmission belt needed replacing. We sharpened & balanced the blades. Aligned the steering as well as we possibly could, per your request. We lubricated/greased unit, tested the electrical system & compression, and found no issue. When called to return the unit, you were again advised of the cost of repair. There was an additional labor hour, above the normal 'tune-up', to cover the additional parts you provided, add'l work requested & and cleaning needed to work on the unit. Upon completion, we ran & tested the unit both here & at your home for you. Our invoice clearly states that parts/labor are guaranteed 30 days from the date of delivery. This is the first time we've heard from you regarding the repair."
They were very good! I got free pick-up and delivery. They were extremely courteous and nice. They were also very polite and did the work in a timely manner. He took the time to explain everything to me.
