Went great. They were very professional and did great work. Worked with me on price, so I feel like a got a lot of value for my money. They put in the time necessary to finish the job, cleaned up each day before they left.

What they did at the beginning did more damage to the inside of my house. I would not hire them again.

I dealt with a gentleman by the name of Bob Heckman as the rep, and he was very professional and I thought he represented the company well. He was easy to work with. I do have some concerns, though.
I gave them a check last December to lock in a price that they said was really good, but they didn't start the job until about May or June. I specifically told them that I didn't want the crew to show up with non-English speakers, but that's exactly what they did. One spoke broken English, and that was it. They gave me a choice as to when the crew would come out, and I picked the weekend. They were prompt and professional. They worked all day and got the job done in 2 days. So far I haven't had any problems with it.
The thing is, though, as soon as the job was complete, they wanted to be paid, of course. They called me several times in a 2-3 day period. To me, the woman in the office comes on too strong sometimes and can be argumentative. I understand she has a job to get done, but I found her to be a bit aggressive. I paid them over the phone or gave them a check - I don't recall - that same week. I can't go up on my roof to inspect it, so there's no way for me to know if I'm totally satisfied.
She said that they wouldn't send me a warranty until I paid in full. Now it's November and they still haven't sent me a warranty, so I'm extremely concerned about doing business with them. If I do have a problem, I don't know how faithful they'll be about coming out to resolve it. I don't know if I would use them again or refer other folks to them until they resolve this problem with the warranty.
As part of their business operations they claim that if you refer other customers to them that they will give you some sort of customer referral fee. I did so with my neighbor, my neighbor confirmed with them that I did refer them to him. Now going on over 2 years they have refused to give me my customer referral fee.
They have given me the runaround, refuse to return phone calls and always have an excuse ready. They have told me that they send checks out like this everyday and a technicality of me not returning a card to them was stopping the fee from being sent out. For the record I never received a referral card from Amazing Home Contractors to return to them. I have confirmed with my friend who also referred customers to Amazing Home Contractors Inc the he had to fight with them to get the referral fee.
They made a mathematical error in the drafting of the contract that was in my advantage to the tune of $1,000. Instead of going forward with what was written in the contract, I paid them what the contract should have included with no error. I could have saved an extra $1,000 by sticking to the contract but I did the right the thing, and am now being given the runaround for a pittance of a fee on a technicality.
