Provider was prompt at coming out to give me an estimate to get the shed roof shingles replaced. The house was being renovated and the shed was used to store good furniture as well as typical shed stuff. The old shingles were literally being blown away by the wind. Money/cost was definitely of great importance. The original estimate was something that I could not afford, but he was willing to work with me to try to get the cost down. I provided the shingles (to match the house) and the roofing paper. We went through the estimate and removed some extras and we were able to agree on a price. The crew came on time, did a great job, cleaned up my property and made sure that nothing was left on the neighbor's side.

The roofers arrived punctually and began work right away and did not take one break until they were finished.  Top notch crew and Foreman who kept everything going seamlessly.  The teamwork was so co-ordinated.  No one got in the way of anyone else.  The whole job went like clockwork and I would use them again if the need arises.

I only have the highest regard. They've been very responsive and professional. They do an extremely good job of replacing the roof. Their prices are very competitive. I would use them most definitely.

They showed up on time. cleaned everything up and did a great job. still waiting on some shingles to lay down but, they told me no worries if they do not they will be right out to fix them. And I have no issue with contacting the sales person or there office. when I do call I can speak with a human and if they can not answer my question I get a phone call back from someone who can. Get customer service.

They were professional and responsive. In the one and a half years since the work was performed, I have had no problems. I would recommend them to other people.

He will be coming in next week and so far the communication has been running smoothly.

Ordered service in September - performed in December. Roof leaked the day service was done and experienced difficulty in getting a response to my issue. After emailing through Angie's list responded and resealed. Still have an area that leaks but my main
problem has been resolved.

They were responsive in providing a quote and in setting and meeting the date for putting on the new roof.
Of all the estimates, they were the highest, but they were the only one that offered to match the roof that was already on our shed which makes for a better appearance of the whole property.
The crew showed up promptly at 8AM and immediately began the tear off of the old roof. I believe one worker got a little zealous and removed one section of the gutter guards. They told us a section was missing. My son had been on the roof two weeks earlier and there were no sections missing. They did not offer to replace it; we have to do so.
Scheduling of materials was a little off. The crew laid around in the front yard about 2 hours waiting for the shingles to arrive. Whether this was the supplier's fault or ROOFING BY GEORGE's fault, I do not know.
The roof looks good and they replaced the vents on the roof as part of the contract and flashed and sealed them.
The contract said they would do a diligent cleanup. Not so much. They left a lot of nails in the yard and driveway and a lot of cigarette butts in the yard. If we had not checked, we would likely have had several tire repairs to do because of the nails left in the driveway.
They were quick and were gone about 2PM even with the two hour delay waiting for materials.
We are happy with the work, but if you hire them, remind them about doing a thorough cleanup.

After a hailstorm in 2009, we needed our roof replaced. We waited for the fly-by-night contractors to leave the area so we could find an established, local contractor we could trust. George himself came to our house for the estimate, and took the time to review the different options we had for shingle types and prices. He climbed onto all the roof surfaces, took detailed measurements, lots of photographs, and provided a very reasonable price. He was also able to do the work within a week.
His team arrived and completed the entire installation in a single day. His team was prompt, courteous, attentive to safety, and did a fantastic job of both installation and of site cleanup. There was no debris left on the property - no nails, no discarded packaging, nothing! There was just enough shingles left over to store in the shed in case there are any future wind-related mishaps, so it was nice to see that George's precise measurements during the estimate paid off!

Company will not respond, never did business with them.

They seemed professional while they were doing the work. But they did not finish the job and ignored my requests.
I paid them in good faith in full and they took the money and ran without finishing the job nor making sure I was satisfied. I paid them $11,000.00 -- It is stated in the contract that they will replace my shed doors at cost and they assured me they were ordering the doors and would be back to replace them. They have never lived up to that part of the contract.

They totally do not project Good Customer Service.

Very fair and reasonable. Even though the job took longer than they expected they stayed and got it all done and cleaned up. I would defiantly highly recommend Roofing by George for any of your roofing needs.

Excellent experience. There were many storm chasers knocking on the door each day and of course I was not interested. I was not a member of Angie's List at the time, so i dug out a 3 or 4 year old phone book to see who was still in business. Found this company. They promptly came by to give an honest and truthful estimate. There was no hard sell, and they are professional. They gave the detailed estimate in writing (very fair price) along with proof of factory certification for employees to install their products and many references including phone numbers. This was all provided at the time of the estimate with no obligation. I chose them (no brainer) and am completely satisfied. A week and a half later I had a beautiful new roof with a written factory warranty that was later sent to me. They were prompt and professional.
