National Stump Removal

We have used Roger once before in 2009 so when I saw him on Angie's list he was the first one I called. He was busy so it took a day for him to return my call. In the meantime I got estimates from 2 other companies. (Southern Tree Service, and Treescape Services). All had good reviews on Angie's List. Roger's estimate was by far the lowest. Since we had experience with Roger it was a and quot;no-brainerand quot; to go with him again. He is a very kind, gentle man and is very responsive to my concerns. I needed him to take down 1 maple in the back yard and grind the stump. It was not anywhere near the house but was about 25 feet tall, mostly dead except near the top. The second tree was on the side of our house but again if taken down correctly, was in danger of hitting the house. It was an Ash that was mostly dead but about 25 feet tall too, and I wanted the stump ground up. There was a small Holly tree that was dead and only about 4inches in diameter that I needed taken out too. The front yard has a Maple tree that needed to be trimmed quite a bit and then the trees across the back yard where the wooded area butts up against the lawn, many branches were hanging low so I wasn't having to duck down to mow the lawn. Roger and his worker came the day after I called to ask him to do the work. Because there was a storm coming in they only got halfway finished. He had a job scheduled for the next day so couldn't get back to finish, but that was OK with me as I wasn't in any hurry. The came on the second day to finish the job. They did everything to my satisfaction and cleaned up completely. I would definitely recommend them to anyone. Their price couldn't be beat and they were very pleasant and easy to talk to. I will be keeping their number handy for any future tree jobs we have.

I had stopped at a service station near Indian Indian Head Highway the first week of August 2012 and was getting gas when I notice a commercial stump removal company truck next to me. I spoke with the driver Mr. Roger Tasker, who was one of the partners in the business, and ask him if he could drop by and give me an estimate for the removal of two trees near my house. The trees, both of which were red oaks, were about 90 to 100 feet in height, and had fairly large trunks and were located less than 25 feet from my house. Over the years I've cut hundreds of trees on my property but was somewhat intimidated to take on these trees as they were too close to the house for my comfort. I figured I'd let a professional handle these rascals. And professionals they are. Roger was prompt in giving me an estimate and came out as promised on 3 August 2012 and cut down both trees with no problem. He and his partner were very careful not to harm any existing landscaping or shrubs. They also used a commercial grade stump grinder and ground the stumps 10 innhes beneath the soil as I plan to plant grass seed there this fall. Roger's company, National Stump Removal also handles snow removal, provides firewood, and does light hauling. They are also licensed and insured and offer 24 hour emergency service. I am very pleased with the service of this company and would most definately use them again and refer them to others. The cost for the serivce was very reasonable considering that I am getting to old to climb up a 90 ft tree, and I sure wouldnt go to the expense of buying a stump grinder for a few trees. Add to that, the potential high risk of injury, and possible damage to my house, and I believe it was a very good bargin.
