We called M & S on a Wednesday night about setting up an appointment for an estimate on replacing a failing AC unit.  They offered to come that evening!  We were on our way out so they came on Thursday, took a look a the system, made several recommendations and answered our questions and gave us the pricing right then and there.  We made a decision that evening and our new AC unit was installed on Tuesday morning, just 2 business days later!!!  Everyone at this company has been amazing to deal with, they are courteous, professional and very nice! They respected our home and used runners and protectant coverings and even removed their shoes, I am beyond impressed! They arrived on time and got the job done very quickly and expertly, you can't even tell I had a crew of 6 men in and out of the house for 3 hours, my house is spotless!!  Everyone one of the gentleman that were here working was kind and respectful, it was a great experience!  The unit is amazing as promised and we are beyond happy and satisfied with the equipment, work and process overall.  This company cares about the customer and doing it right!  I though that level if service was gone, but not with M & S Heating and Air!  My only regret is that we didn't contact them sooner.  Great job

We have some issues with a new thermostat and our heat pump in our recently purchased home, so I called to request someone come check them out to see what the issue was.  M&S had someone here within two hours - that's right two hours after I called they were at my door! Did I mention this was not an emergency call, just a preemptive strike to avoid further issues. 
The man was nice and very professional, he checked out our heat pump (inside and out) and thermostat and within minutes had diagnosed our problem ... the thermostat's installation code was not properly input and every time we turned on the heat (or what we thought was the heat) the A/C would actually kick on and vice versa, on top of that once the A/C (we thought was the heat) would get to a certain temp, the EM heat would kick on too. After checking out the installation codes he was able to reprogram our thermostat and was finished within an hour of arriving. 
I would recommend M&S and will use them for any future HVAC needs.

They were on time, polite, businesslike, and very thorough with their estimate. When they left, I knew exactly what I was getting and what they were offering. Since then, I had one service call shortly after we started the unit up and that was 8 o'clock at night and the owner actually came over at 9 o'clock and fixed the problem. Another service call was during the blistering heat for my mother-in-law whose unit was not installed by them and yet, they fit her in in their busy schedule the next day and had it fixed within half hour.

M&S Heating and Air are amazing.  This is the second time that I have used them and will continue to do so.  They go way above and beyond to ensure that their customers are taken care of. My primary problem turned out to be a failed valve on my water heater.  They replaced the condensation pump that was damaged by the hot water from the water heater then they replaced the valve on my water heater.  This required a trip to La Plata and back to purchase the part.  When I received the bill, there were the charges for the parts and only charged the normal service call for labor.  Service like this is so very rare these days. 

M & S is very professional, courteous, and fair.  They came out and resolved issues that were caused by a contractor that was of no fault of their own.  M & S was contacted at 8 pm and responded out to our home at 8 am the next morning.  M & S work was outstanding.  They are a fair and honest business, and will not charge you until you are 100% satisfied.

The Service people were very prompt and responsive. They found the problem very quickly and made the repair. In addition to the repair they charged for,they found that one of the outside condensing units had slid off of one platform. They moved the unit back onto the platform and leveled it.  I am very pleased with the service that they provided and will definitely use them again and will share my experience with friends and family.

This was my second experience with M&S and both have been extremely positive, particularly after having had to give up on another heating & air company that we had used for years which appeared to have fallen apart.
 The first experience, in May, we needed the AC repaired.  He actually apologized for not being able to come that afternoon (Friday) but arrived on Saturday within minutes of his scheduled time, and promptly repaired the problem and checked out the system.  We bought a service contract.  
In July, due to a clogged filter and high humidity, the AC iced over internally and lost efficiency during a heatwave.  A call on Friday  offered same-day service which we couldn't accommodate due to our schedule.  He offered Sunday at noon, and arrived at 11:59:50. Again he quickly restored the system for a very reasonable price, and offered us guidance on managing the aging system to prevent this from recurring, and how to restore it ourselves if it came up.
I am particularly impressed by M&S ' responsiveness and promptness.  This is a good firm to do business with, and I recommend them to anyone.
