it pains me that I have to write this review because things started out so well. they were responsive in getting our fried system replaced ASAP. Since the old unit was damaged by a power surge my insurance wanted to inspect the old unit; however since it was early July we needed to replace immediately to beat the heat. We discussed this with John (the installer, not owner) and he said it wouldn't be a problem, just to let them know once insurance had completedone their inspection they would send someone back for the old unit. In a couple weeks it will have been 4 months since we let John know the unit could be picked up and it's still sitting in my yard despite the promise they would come back for it. In late August when I contacted John (owner) again he told me that they would get the unit when they were in the area but I could pay another $97.50 and they would come get it sooner. I then waited, and waited with no word from Johnow so I contacted him again. His response was again wait or pay $97.50. The evasive behavior gives me the impression he's not overly worried about this since he's already been paid for the job. In 4 months I have a hard time believing that they couldn't come get the unit. instead John got paid and wants to give me the run around until I cave and pay him $100 to come do what the installer told me wouldn't be a problem.

Our heat pump unit started to accumulate ice around the coils of the outside unit. This was a Trane heat pump system that came with the house (cir. 2004). Mr. John Windsor was one of four HVAC businesses that I contacted for a diagnosis and estimate. He was very proactive and his estimate was reasonably lower than his competitors. His crew was timely, courteous, and very professional. They did a good job cleaning the work areas after completion of the job. I would contact and hire him again for any HVAC issues.

He presented the products and I found the same as what the others presented.  He saved money on his presentation when he did not know what the others presented.

Oh!  He checked everything out and gave me tips on what to do and who to call (Lots of reading materiel)
