"We appreciate [member's] business and patience in trying to set things right for her, however it seems that we are just unable to accomplish that. [member] was a difficult customer to work with from the beginning of the job. We did everything we could to accommodate her. [member] had a 2 foot tall mound of dirt, which would never have settled completely so we removed what was left over. We can not control the weather and erosion, so the seed and straw we placed was washed out last year and had caused the dirt to wash away also mostly due to the fact that her yard is on a steep incline. [member] had called back while our company was out of town on a large job so we could not get to her right away, which I had advised her of but we brought back dirt to fill in the area again over the winter. Now she is not happy because it is not the same dirt we took away, it is dirt be bought a trailer load of and filled in her area. June 1st we went back to her home with bagged topsoil and filled in the area again and placed more seed and straw, and hopefully the grass will grow, again however the customer needs to water it for it to grow so it is out of our control. We also parged the small cracks in the concrete. Concrete cracks, that is a fact, we do our best to prevent it but we can not control that either and it is in our contract. We have left a message for [member] but have not received a call back. We have been out to [member's] home on June 1st and have taken more topsoil (from bags) to fill in her area, placed seed & straw. Her yard is a very steep incline it makes stopping the erosion hard because the seed & straw we place keeps getting washed out.(this is our 3rd time) As far as the small cracks in the concrete, there is nothing we can do to fix it. We have parged the areas but concrete does crack and it is not something we did wrong. We have left a message for [member] but have not received a call back form her."
