Excellent experience.

Project was removal of an old hardwood parquet floor over a slab. New install required a totally clean slab . Julius removed the old floor, a layer of mastic, then paper and finally the original glue that covered the area. His work, communication and attention to detail is outstanding. Hope to never have to do this type of demo ever again, but if needed, I'd call Julius again in a New York second.

The work involved resurfacing my garage floor . Julius was courteous, helpful i.e. explained what he was doing and why ; very efficient, courteous, helpful and professional in his attitude and overall demeanor. He takes pride in his work and ensures that the customer is satisfied with his results. I was very pleased with his work and with his compensation. Julius restored my faith that there were honest hardworking contractors out there who placed quality of work and communications with the customer at the highest level. The job entailed grinding down an extremely rough "exposed aggregate" pool deck, repairing several cracks, power washing it, "skim coating" it to an even surface, applying a waterproofing concrete sealer, applying a "Granitite" surface and finally another waterproof sealer. We agreed upon the work schedule and the price. Julius always called the day before to verify that he could come the next day and confirm the time. He always showed up on time. That in itself is a rarity. He and his father-in-law worked continuously with no breaks each day they were here. If Julius had to leave for a short while, he would always inform me, and he always returned when he said he would. What most impressed me, besides the beauty of my new pool deck, is the pride in workmanship that Julius and his father-in-law exhibited in all portions of the job. Their primary concern was that the job was done in a fashion that would yield the best result for longevity and beauty. I have already recommended him to 2 other people who need concrete work done, and I would certainly hire him to do anything he felt competent to do in the future. Unfortunately, it's only Julius and his father-in-law, and he only has so much time. He doesn't want to hire anyone else because he wants to make sure that the quality of each job is done to his high level and that each customer is totally happy with the work. I actually gave him more than the agreed upon price (and I've NEVER done that before) and told him to take his family out for a nice dinner. I really wish there were more people out there like him.

I recently had a new acrylic finish put on my basement floor. Mike did an excellent job of explaining the process and keeping me advised about what to expect. He & Julius showed up on time and did all work as promised to my complete satisfaction. I would highly recommend him to friends and family.
