This could not have been a better experience.  Smyth did not charge me for the service, and did it the same day.  I dropped it off, ran an errand and picked it up 40 minutes later.

They're a top of the line company and I stop in there frequently when I'm looking to buy something for my wife or for someone else that we feel that's special. I specifically like their expertise in all areas of merchandise that they sell which is first rate jewelry and high-end knickknacks for your house. They're very sensitive about their quality service. If something is not right they go out of their way to make it right and they're always eager to make their customers satisfied. They have very professional people who are skilled. If they're selling something special in the store they understand that merchandise and will be able to give good advice on how to care for it. They also understand the background of its manufacturer. Their prices are very competitive and probably some of the best prices for quality merchandise that you'll find in the area. They sell mostly top of the line merchandise and are good people to deal with. It's all about customer service and they understand that.

I thought that they were very prompt in getting the work done. They had a fair price. They will put batteries in watches, even watches that they didn't sell, for free. So what happens is, you can wait and then while you are waiting, you are looking around and getting tempted to spend more money! I will continue to use their services in the future especially for watch batteries.

I've been with them for more than 50 years. Their staff is wonderful, professional, friendly, competent, and generous with their time. They are very well staffed and the people who work there love to work there. Their products are outstanding. Once you get in their roster as a customer, they will do replacement watch batteries for you for free and their repairs are very fast and they are reasonable. The location is good and the parking is easy and it's a lovely facility.

It's a great store, it's very big, you could get lost in it! They are also very friendly, I have recommended them to other people and they have some gorgeous jewelry, and lots of different merchandise!

Just stop in and they will replace most watch batteries for free while you wait. I have had great experiences for other jewelry repair as well.

I had Smyth Jewelers re-size my 14K gold wedding ring and convert a pair of heirloom pearl earrings from clip-ons to posts for pierced ears. The work was perfectly done, completely undetectable. It took about two weeks, and they notified me by phone when it was done. Their service is very pleasant and efficient. I thought the price was very reasonable for the excellent quality work they did.
