Have to give a shout out to Renaissance Contractors on another job well done. We had them replace and old leaky tub and redo the tile in the shower area. Hunter kept us appprised during the entire process, and his contractors showed up on time. Top notch work done in a timely manner. Will definitely be using them in the future!

The overall project went very well. Hunter and his team did an excellent job. The plumber was late the two times he had to come out. The first time did not matter, but the 2nd. time was the last day and the team, could not finish up their work until the plumber arrived and connected the sink, etc. Hunter's staff came and had to leave until the plumber came to connect the toilet and sink. So, high marks for hunter and his immediate staff, but the plumber (Abbott plumbing) not so much. Justin Rivera at Ferguson Bath was wonderful to work with as was Mollie at KG Tile. The two brothers who did most of the work were outstanding.!!!

The job turned out beautifully. Hunter was on top of things, visiting or calling almost daily, and his carpenter/tiler Alex was highly skilled and extremely professional. Though not cheap, Hunter’s quote was well below our other leading candidates, and it was worth every penny.

Hunter assessed our needs and helped us figure out exactly what was needed and how we could get it done and keep the costs in line. The project was completed on schedule for the price quoted. The whole team was friendly and responsive to our needs and input.

I highly recommend Renaissance Contractors for any remodeling job. We had our kitchen and basement remodeled by them. It came out perfect. The entire experience was exceptional because of their craftmanship, professionalism, daily communication, and being on budget. Hunter Steadly , the owner, came to the job site each day to facilitate the project. He was easy to converse with, listened to our concerns, and kept the entire project focused. Boliva, the head carpenter, was exceptional. He was very creative and his craftmanship was outstanding. The entire team was very conscious of our home and kept the job site clean and tidy each day. Renaissance Contractors were superb in every aspect of the project. I would hire them again for any remodeling project we may have in the future.

Renaissance did a complete remodel including tearing out a wall and a half - opening the kitchen into the den and a half wall between the kitchen and dining room. Hunter Steadley and his crew did an outstanding job - his timetable was exactly on target. Alex Kotlas (and dad Richard) were the main carpenters and did most of the work - they were outstanding! They had to redo some vent work and address a few other unforeseen issues and did so fabulously. Alex and Hunter both addressed all my silly questions and issues - immediately - and left the house in pristine condition. REICO Timonium sold us the cabinets and they were great (we did pick the top of the line cabinets). Overall price for the project was good. Not sure who did the intertwining of the hardwood floors from the kitchen into the den - but they did an outstanding job also - it looks like one long beautiful open floor. I can't say enough good stuff about both Hunter and the Kotlas's. I would hire them again in a minute. If I had the money now - I would redo my baths!

They did a great job! The project was well planned and everything went very smoothly. They always communicated what was going on to me and when. I would highly recommend.

Excellent, the work was completed on-time with great attention to detail. Hunter also lets you purchase raw materials directly which helps keep costs down.

We couldn’t be happier with the final project. This is the second time we've used Renaissance and we have no regrets. Admittedly, we had not planned the design as well as we could have (we had no immediate goals for using the space), but we were blown away by the quality of work and small details. Their site supervisor contributed thoughtful suggestions about materials and construction techniques that conformed with the design of the rest of the house as well as our aesthetic and quality standards. In the past 4 years we have made major changes to our entire house, from enlarging and renovating a kitchen, to creating a master suite from a balcony and small bedroom, but this project has left us almost speechless with its dramatic transformation. I have since moved my office to one of the new bedrooms and it is truly a joy to go to work each day. They were a pleasure to work with and met our schedule and budget. We would definitely hire them again.

Hunter Steadley of Renaissance Contractors is highly organized and professional. The estimate for our remodel was reasonable and accurate. A kitchen remodel is inevitably a challenging under-taking for the homeowner. Hunter's attention to detail, scheduling and clear deadlines made the job run smoothly. His long experience, and well established relationships with a pool of competent professionals and suppliers insured both the quality of workmanship and timely completion of the work. The bulk of the work-- demolition, framing, drywall, installation of new cabinets, flooring, backsplash tile, etc.-- was performed by one Lance Wallis. He was highly skilled, meticulous and hard-working. He showed a notably assured attitude toward solving problems large,and small. He worked on our kitchen for hours every day, a thoroughly good-humored, affirmative presence. We love our new kitchen.

Hunter Steadley of Renaissance Contractors was great to work with. Professional, on time, the estimate was spot on, checked in with me every day, very responsive to emails/texts/phone calls, and the project was finished 2 days early. The paint crew he uses, with Jonathan as the lead, was on time (actually early!) everyday and very hard working. No matter the mess, it was cleaned up thoroughly at the end of each day, including all furniture put back into place. Finally, the work was meticulous and I'm very happy with the final result. I will be using Renaissance Contractors for my next project.

Hunter was prompt, professional and very helpful guiding us through the process. The subcontractors were meticulous and impressively tidy. We got several quotes for the work, Renaissance came in lower and provided as good a service as we could have hoped. We would undoubtedly hire them again and recommend them without question.

All the people we dealt with including the carpenters, plumber, electrician, and sales people were more than helpful. The price was reasonable, the workmanship excellent and all the work was finished on schedule. And now we have a lovely kitchen to enjoy.

The work done was excellent. Everything was done on schedule, the team working in my home was friendly and efficient. Everyday the work area was cleaned up really well. I loved working with Hunter. The old kitchen was gutted, so it was a major job! Hunter listened to my ideas and helped make all my kitchen dreams come true. Terrific contractor.

Our Renaissance crew was skillful with tile, carpentry and painting. Two carpenters worked every day with an electrician and a plumber coming in to do their specific tasks. The carpenters arrived on time, worked diligently throughout the day and cleaned up. Throughout the 2 1/2 week job, the owner was in touch with us and most often on site every day. Therefore, our questions were answered promptly. The entire crew as well as the owner were pleasant to deal with throughout the project.

Hunter and the team were a pleasure to work with. We couldn't have been happier with the process and end results. Each morning of the 8 week job, the guys were waiting at the end of our drive way to get started as we were leaving for the day at 7:30. During the bidding phase, Hunter was the most responsive contractor I interviewed. I screened 9 companies for our job. He showed up early to his appointment time. He was engaging in conversation during his interview, displaying his years of experience. He turned his quote around earlier than he committed. His quote was very detailed, itemized with the specific types of work and milestones. During the demo phase we were amazed how clean the job site was. Dust was very well managed through the entire house. Tarps were dropped and removed every day for the crew to maneuver through our home. Debris was cleaned up at the end of every day so we could walk the job site with our kids. Tools were neatly kept in the storage area we'd designated. During the construction phase, communication and craftsmanship was fantastic. Each night we'd come home to new progress on the job. Lance and the team were very engaging. When they had questions regarding fixture placement, tile patterns, or in general, they always asked and never made assumptions. Hunter hosted regular job site review and milestone updates with us to make sure we were taken care of. Anytime questions or concerns came up, he addressed them right away.

Having hired Renaissance before, we were not surprised by the steps taken everyday to lay down cloths in and around the work areas...minimizing dust and debris. At the end of the day, the procedure was reversed so we could get around without tripping over them. Professional and friendly are how I would best describe the folks from Renaissance who entered our home. They liked what they did and it showed in the results and in how they achieved them. We have recommended this company several times and used them as often. It's hard to go wrong with quality workmanship!

Hunter and his crew were so easy to work with. The carpenters were extremely competent and everyone offered me multiple options when any problems came up. I never had to worry with them in my house. I also was so impressed with the way they left my house each day. With three kids, it was important that everyone was tidy when they came home from school. After a final walkthrough, they were more than happy to come perfect a few things. Would totally work with them again!
