LEISURE FITNESS CENTERS

I purchased the treadmill at regular price. The treadmill price was typical for the brand. The treadmill has been great and is still going strong after four years even though I use it several times a week. It's fine for walking and running. Salespeople were polite and helpful but not pushy, which was great. My only problem was this: When I was about to move to a new home, I realized I couldn't take the treadmill apart. The Leisure Fitness staff who had delivered and assembled it had screwed the bolts in so tight that they could not be budged. Not even a standard drill would work. I tried everything. Finally, I called Leisure Fitness to explain the problem. They said they would have to charge me $100 to send out a person to fix the bolts they'd overtightened. I ended up having to move the treadmill whole, and then it sat in my living room in the new apartment, taking up that entire space, until I could beg the loan of a heavy-duty drill from a professional maintenance worker. This was an extremely frustrating experience, and I wish the company would have taken responsibility for the machine's inappropriate assembly and just had someone stop by to loosen the screws.

THE DELIVERY PEOPLE WERE EXCELLENT. THEY SET UP THE EQUIPMENT IN THE DESIGNATED AREA. THEY WERE VERY CAREFUL NOT TO DRAG THE EQUIPMENT OVER THE FLOOR. THEY USED LEVELS AND OTHER TOOLS FOR EXACT INSTALLATION. THEY WERE ALSO VERY NICE AND KEPT ASKING IF THE EQUIPMENT WAS PROPERLY POSITIONED.
