 + 9 moreI was very impressed with the quality of Doug and Tom's work. After construction started we expanded the scope of our project, but they did not start work on any other projects until ours was complete (standard procedure for Doug). It took just over 2 weeks. They were always punctual even though they had a long commute each day. At the end of each day they always vacuumed and put their tools out of the way. Everything was always protected with plenty of drop clothes and they hung plastic 'walls' when it came time to sand the spackle. They are very conscientious about their work and never took shortcuts. No detail was overlooked. I could see that they are perfectionists. I was most impressed when I came home on their last day of work to find Doug on his knees wiping the dust from my floor. Doug and Tom are true professionals, not just in what they can do with their hands but also in how they show respect for your home.
Description of Work: Demolished existing kitchen cabinets and book shelves. Cut openings from kitchen to living room. Installed support beams where walls were removed. Installed new kitchen cabinets, stove, dishwasher and reconnected plumbing. Installed new lighting. Built coat closet and installed closet light. Moved electric where needed. Cleaned up and removed all construction debris. Repaired a plumbing leak not related to their construction. This price includes labor in addition to support beams, light fixtures, closet doors, sheet rock and misc carpentry items. The price does not include the kitchen cabinetry, appliances, counter tops, flooring or painting.
