The locksmith, Cliff, was skilled and knowledgeable. Very friendly and courteous, went way above and beyond to spend time answering my many questions and going over possible options with me. He was timely and thorough. We had an older home which made installing the lock a little harder, but he spent time making sure it was just right.

I explained to Baldino's dispatcher that the new locks were foor the exterior door and that I wanted to change the interior locks to a different color from the exterior locks. Baldwin was the brand, which Baldino's is supposed to sell. Before the technician arrived, I reviewedon the Baldwin website, the measurements that Baldwin required for new locks. I noted that the technician did not take all the measurements that Baldwin needed. I asked the technician about it and he basically ignored me. I paid the 99.00 fee. After several days of not hearing from Baldino's about the cost of the new locks, I called them.
No one knew about. Then I called again and was told that Baldino's did not intend to provide a price on the locks. I asked for a refund. AFter three months, they refunded the $99.00. I found out today that Baldino's has put me on a do not service list, a blacklist and refuses to do business with me. The truth of the matter is that the provider did not know how to order the locks in two different colors. Even though they are supposed to sell Baldwin locks, they basically only know how to sell sets and do not know how to order any custom work. I now have my locks in two different colors by going to a genuine Baldwin preferred showroom. I called Baldwin customer service directly and found that there was one in Washington DC and one in Pennsylvania. They had all the parts and knew exactly what parts to give me to provide interior locks in one color and the exterior locks in a different color. I have also noted that Baldino's is no longer listed with Baldwin as one of their dealers.

My sister passed away at the end of June and we needed to inventory all of her valuable possessions for the estate. Out of all of her jewelry boxes only one was locked — and with a type of lock I had never seen before. The box and the lock were both heavy-duty and high-quality. I had given my sister some nice jewelry over the years and I hadn't found any of it in her other jewelry boxes so I was hoping it was in the locked box. I could have pried the box open (eventually) but I didn't want to damage it. It was such a nice box I wanted to use it myself.
Baldino's is located in a small building right on York Road in Timonium. I walked in with the jewelry box and was greeted by a pleasant young man who turned out to be an apprentice locksmith. He listened to my story and agreed he'd never seen a lock of that type either. He took the jewelry box into the back and a few minutes later came out with the opened, undamaged jewelry box. Since it was such an unusual lock, he said the master locksmith would not charge me if I allowed him to keep the lock for training purposes. Worked for me! I walked out a very happy customer with the unlocked jewelry box (and, yes, the and quot;goodand quot; jewelry was in there).
I highly recommend Baldino's for any locksmith services. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

It went well and there was no hassle. The provider was very nice.

Baldino's was on-time and helpful during this period when I could not close/lock my door. While I'm happy with the resolution, it took a few visits to get the job entirely completed due to the need to order parts and cylinders, etc. which was a minor hassle to my schedule. This could have been better, but I am happy with the hardware installed and recommended them to friends because of the trust they inspired in me.

Installation went as planned. I did have to have my contractor shore up the basement steps first.

The locksmith was there on time, explained what she was doing and answered any questions asked. She was very friendly and professional and cleaned up afterward. She even placed a towel over my shoes so sawdust didn't get in them. The whole thing was done in a little over an hour. The lock looks good and I am very pleased. Would definity use them again.

Overall excellent service. Called the baldino's Newington, VA office at about 10 A.M. and requested my front door re-keyed. The receptionist gave me an estimate over the phone and a time-frame in the afternoon. I asked for a 30 minute prior phone call. Larry (technician) called @ 1230, arrived at 1 P.M. He asked if I wanted the front door to match the rear door, and I agreed. Had the work done in 30 mins., complete with keys made. Invoice matched the estimates. He was professional, punctual, and I would use him again anytime.

The service call was out of their Centerville, VA location. Overall excellent service.

The guy that came out was great. Very professional, very knowledgeable. He also saved me some money by recommending a cheaper lock which was more convenient for the situation.

The initial appointment was setup quickly. The service call was set. On the day of the appointment Larry called to see if he could come earlier. That was great for me, so I agreed and he showed up as promised. Being a first time home owner I had underestimated how many locks were on my door. I had 3 locks on each door (due to double cylinders), so it ended up that I needed 11 re-keyed. The labor time took longer, so that was additional, but Larry took his time. He showed me how to properly open the locks to avoid damage. He also pointed out things about my front door which I should monitor for potential problems. He recommended ways to keep the locks in working order by yearly lubrications and pointed out to never use graphite on a lock. The service was great, the education was welcomed and I was extremely pleased by his work.

It went great. We had a lot of trouble with our locks (they are 55 years old). Andria was able to fix all the problems we were having and now the keys and locks work like a dream.

I was very pleased with this service. I was fully prepared to be told that it couldn't be fixed and that we would have to try and find a replacement for a 1920's lock or replace the door. The tech seemed incredibly capable and patient with the project.

I recently had my front door lock and dead-bold replaced. The locksmith called within an hour of us calling. Even though he was working 15 miles away, he told us he would be there in an hour. He was there an hour later to the minute. He was very efficient and even helped me save by showing me what parts could still be used. Very courteous.

Each time I've used them, I have been very pleased with the work. They arrived on time, were knowledgeable about the problems and resolved them.

We were totally satisfied with our experience. Our security alarm system administrator specifically recommended Baldinos, as a trusted company to re-key our locks. The technician was punctual and the scheduler was very patient and helpful, as we had to reschedule the service call several times, due to other constraints.

GOOD COMPANY. THEY WERE HELPFUL IN PROVIDING ESTIMATES OVER THE PHONE. LOCKSMITH ARRIVED PROMPTLY AND COMPLETED THE WORK IN AN EFFICIENT AND CLEAN MANNER.

THE LOCKSMITH SHOWED UP ON TIME FOR HIS APPOINTMENT and COMPLETED THE WORK IN A TIMELY, THOROUGH, and EFFICIENT MANNER. THE PRICE IS NOT INEXPENSIVE, BUT WHEN IT COMES TO HOME SECURITY WE ARE WILLING TO PAY A LITTLE EXTRA TO ENSURE A GOOD JOB.
