Clock Repair
Great. It works. The price was reasonable. The amount of time it took was reasonable. I was able to drop it off and pick it up after business hours at my convenience.

Clock Repair
We received a call 1 week after the clock was dropped off. The repair/parts required exceeded the value of the clock. He would not accept payment even for his time. We were impressed with his honesty and would use his services again.

Clock Repair
Clock is a quality reproduction from the Bartley Company. We purchased new in approx. 2000. The clock performed without incident until approx. Sept.2013, when the chimes started to misbehave.
August 23 2013 = first call to this vendor. Specific problem was that the Westminster chimes (the music part) was malfunctioning. Vendor made a house visit (observed that the workings were German + esp high quality, so should be no prob). He made adjustments. Charge $100. Worked fine for a week or two.
Early Sept = second call to this vendor. Chimes now had 2nd symptom - the gongs which mark the hours were giving wrong numbers (ie, at 7am it rang 3 gongs; at 8 it rang 2 gongs;.etc.). Vendor declined request for house call, saying this sometimes happens and usually works itself out if you give it time. Said if it continues he might have to bring it into the shop.
February 25, 2014 = third call to this vendor. Chimes continued, and in fact worsened, with the gong-count problem. Vendor made another house visit, made additional adjustments. Charged an additional $80. When we objected (given how close to the first visit the 2nd related prob had been reported), he cut his charge to $50. Worked fine for about a week.
March 8, 2014 = fourth call to this vendor. Chimes are now starting 10 minutes early, though clock function still working (ie, chimes kick in at 6:50, even though the clock is showing correct time of 7:00). Again, he said to wait a while, it'll work itself out. We told him no, we think it's time for him to come take the mechanism back to his shop, as he'd suggested earlier. He said no, I think you need a whole replacement mechanism, which I will gladly sell you. We said SEE YA (as well as and quot;can't figure out how you stay in businessand quot;).
We plan to call another vendor on this list, for a second opinion (will update!). Even IN the unlikely event it is time for a new mechanism, it shouldn't have taken him 7 months of charge$ and and quot;waiting periodsand quot; to get us there.

The clock and quot;wizardand quot; quickly assured me that he could fix my clock and how much it would cost. If I wanted to come back in 30 minutes it would be ready for me. I had another appointment so I could not return that day. I arranged to return the following day and my clock was ready and waiting--set to the correct time and with shiny new hands on its face. I am very happy to have my unique clock working again. I would definitely use his services again.

Clock Repair
Made a house call for the Grandmother clock and was meticulous and careful in his work. Also careful to explain the workings of the clock and how to maintain it.He did minor repairs to the one wall clock but that needs to go back to the shop. We tried a simple repair to see if it would run again and it did for a short while but now needs to go back for probably a bigger repair. But we tried the simple and inexpensive fix, first and he cautioned it might not work. The other clock, a wall clock , needed a new movement and it was repaired perfectly.Cannot say enough about his promptness and expertise in his field. My mother had driven to lancaster PA to get a mantle clock fixed and it never worked well. She paid hundreds of dollars for a crummy repair and ended up getting rid of the antique clock. I only wish I had known about him sooner.

Clock Repair
I called Ali because I was given a grandfathers clock that has been in the family for over 80 years. During the move, the weight cables became tangled preventing the clock from running. We set up an appointment within the next week. Ali arrived on time and corrected the cables on the clock. While on site, he provided an estimate of the value of the clock for insurance purposes. After Ali left, the clock ran and kept good time. However, the chimes had become out of sync after Ali’s work. I gave him a call and we set up another appointment where he came back and resolved the chimes. The clock has been running without issue since Ali completed his work. I have recommended Ali to friends and if needed, I will use Ali again.

Clock Repair
Service was beyond my expectations. Ali arrived at my home promptly, and explained my options to fix/repair my 35 year-old grandfather clock. I selected the least expensive of the two, which Ali believed would resolve the issue at hand, and it has. I am so happy that there are still honest people in this world.

Clock Repair
The guy who came out, we showed him the clock and showed him what was wrong. He told he will not take money for this because we could fix it ourselves. He was here for 5 minutes, fixed it and told us what it was. The clock was running very fast, he showed how to make the adjustments which revolved anti-clock. He showed us what to do. I would recommend them. He was punctual.
