+ -1 moreAt first it went well. As I began to question things, it got worse. He had to work with others in the house because I wanted to return back to my house after it being damaged during Hurricane Irene. I did allow three weeks for the painting to be completed. He was often not here and would not show up in the evening/overnight to complete work if he wanted to work without others around. he then told me he felt threatened by me after I had already paid him in full and I then asked him to complete the work. He made personal attacks against me saying I felt I was always right. It is my house. I am paying. I want it done right. I realized I should have done the painting myself.
Description of Work: Gave an inaccurate estimate as to the amount of paint needed. Did not finish the job but did get paid in full. Asked for his last payment prior to being finished. I was dumb and gave it to him. He then did not finish the work and made personal attacks against me due to the complaints I made about his painting skills. Did not provide drop cloths and paint splatters were all over the floor. Paint dripped down the walls and was not stopped or rolled over prior to it drying. Did not complete most of the trim work. Did not complete the ceiling work so you can see all the roll marks when the sun hits a certain way. Did not get the wall colors all the way up to the ceiling so I have a white line at the ceiling and then my wall color begins.
