Perfect Plumbing

Not well , they would show up when they weren’t suppose to cancel on days they were suppose to be here. We entered into this contract in August of 2017 to this date 3-13-2018 the job is still unfinished . The rest of the basement has been done .Our last contact with them was January 23, 2018 and we have been waiting for them to contact us as to when they plan to finish the job . We were even told by Rachel that they have many customers and simply can not get to all of them when we called to ask when will they be back to finish the shower area. I also have that in a email from her. Well you shouldn’t take on jobs if you can’t do them. I have asked to speak to the owner Josh several times he has never returned a call to us. We have paid in incriminates as the job got done and on time. We finally sent them a certified letter on 2-27-2018 with a return receipt to tell them they are fired from this job. We have not gotten the certified letter back as of today 3-13-2018. I went to their office and they are never there so I’m guessing the postal system has not gotten them to sign for it. I’m told by the postal system if they are not there they will leave a note saying they need to come to the post office to retrieve if they don’t retrieve it with in 15 days it will come back to us as undeliverable so I’m guessing by 3-16-2018 I will get that back. I honestly have never dealt with such a irresponsible company in my life. Oh and I might add they had to pour new cement for the flooring in bathroom area so our tile person could lay the tile well that went poorly too as the cement was uneven by 1 3/4 inches on the far side of the bathroom which meant the tile people had to redo the job . We all know ceramic tile doesn’t bend and they knew what type of flooring we were putting down so it should have been level. I am at a loss for words and even if they contacted me at this point I have no interest in them finishing the job. I plan to hire another plumber to finish the shower area it’s just a shame how they treat their everyday clients . We also had been told they have many contracts with new home contractors which has to get done first well funny that was never mentioned to us when we entered into the contract .

The price was comparable.

Communication by phone was professional and an appointment was set for the following day.  Paul arrived on time (he offered to remove his shoes upon entering the house) and very quickly diagnosed the problem.  He offered a solution, made a phone call to establish the cost of the repair and told me he would need to go out to purchase a new toilet, but could return in one hour to complete the job.  Everything went as promised and the job was completed professionally.  The bathroom was left clean and tidy.  Paul and his assistant were friendly and knowledgeable.  If I need work done again, I would call Perfect Plumbing with no hesitation and I would request that Paul show up to do the work.  Thanks, Perfect Plumbing for.a unexpectedly pleasant experience.

Service went fantastic.  The team did a wonderful job.  Very professional and polite.  Offered to revolve shoes before coming into the house.  They arrived within the scheduled window; removed the old hot water tank, replaced some pipes, and installed the new tank. 

I was walking by my garage door and heard water running.  Pouring, really.  I opened the door to see water coming through the ceiling onto my car.  The master bathroom is above the garage and there had been some toilet issues in the past so it seemed the likely culprit.  I called Perfect Plumbing and they came out the next day (Josh and, um, I forget the other guys name, sorry).  Of course, by then, everything was magically flowing again with no leaks.  Go figure!  They gave me the option: do I let them cut into the garage ceiling drywall, or just leave it as is and hope for the best?  I told them to cut away...
A large rectangular hole in the ceiling later revealed almost nothing.  The water definitely came from the toilet, but there was no visible problem from either the bathroom itself nor the piping underneath.  Funny how that works.  Anyway, here's where it gets good: They tell me it's probably fine, but to keep an eye on it.  Then he says "but, you know, you've paid for an hour and there is still time left, we would be happy to pull off the toilet and inspect it".  Wow.  I think a lot (most?) would have just taken my money and been done with it, but here they were offering to do extra work when they probably didn't have to.  I said to do it...and it's a good thing, too.  Upon removing the toilet they noticed the installer had used the wrong type of seal, and that the right amount of water pressure probably lifted the toilet off the seal and allowed the water to escape around it.  They installed a new seal (proper one this time) and put the toilet back on.  Haven't had any problems ever since.  Now I just need to find time to repair the drywall...

My son called me saying the basement had a leak.  The brass pipe on our well pump had a pinhole leak and was shooting water about 8 feet . My son put a bucket to help catch//divert the water to the sump pump.  I called PERFECT PLUMBING.  Within about an hour they arrived appraised the situation and stopped the immediate leak.  About 1.5 hours later they were finished, new pipes and pressure gauges in place.  Excellent JOB  !!!

I am not sure of the time frame that the work was done it was this fall.  So it is within that context that I confirm this information.  They resolved my problem and I would use them again.

Great.  He did promise to contact a man to repair the ceiling and I have still not heard from the man.  If you could have Josh try again I would appreciate it.  Thanks.

I would use them again. They're very efficient and very good.

I called them up and was very pleased in the timing they showed up in about less than an hour to the house. They got to work and explained the processed throughout. I would definitely call them back again for any other plumbing issues.  I urgently needed to get the connection repaired since the pipe was leaking and I had shut the water off in the house. They were prompt and professional. 

We've had Josh and his team repair plumbing for years. He responds very quickly, and it's not hard to get an appointment for both an estimate and the actual work. After having been "had" by other plumbers charging minimum trip charges, etc, I trust Josh wholeheartedly with anything plumbing related. Don't let the dreadlocks fool you--he is a serious and talented professional.

I was referrred to this plumber by Kargman's (another company we've used on Angie's List) who said that they were the plumber that they outsourced to. I called and explained what was happening and that it was an emergency (the ceiling was dropping continuously). They had other emergencies to get to on the day they promised that they would come, but they came early (8:15 or so) the next day and promptly fixed the leak. It hasn't leaked since.
I am very satisfied with what they have done and would heartily recommend them again.

snThe leaks are GONE & have not come back. It's so nice to have the faucets working so well again - I hadn't realized how bad it had gotten until it worked right again.
We did ask him his opinion on replacing the tub with a walk in shower with multiple handicap bars, a higher toilet (the old one leaks some & we have had to replace the inside parts so many times that I wrote it up on ehow.com & got paid a small fee per view of the instructions! I'm too ill for that now.) I also found out I could get a new vanity that was flush with the wall instead of being 2.5" from the wall (creating a black hole for small items that might be on the sink, & being difficult to impossible to clean, never mind retrieving the items (I think the Borrowers like that little black hole! lol). He admitted frankly to having no information on walk-in tubs or what was involved but said he would ask & get back to me if I wanted to know. He did mention that in an emergency of any sort, ALL the water had to be drained out before the person could get out of the tub. I knew that but only he was able to make us THINK about the full impact. We will always be grateful for that foresight; it's such a simple thing but those are the ones most of us overlook. His rough estimate was very reasonable, but he asked us not to hold him to it until he had time to put together a regular estimate.
This company is awesome! l'd stay with them if I we didn't already have an awesome guy.

It was awesome.  They did good work.  They did everything they were going to do.  They were polite and courteous.  If we didn't know they were in the basement, you wouldn't have known someone was in the basement working.  They protected the carpets.  They were a real pleasure to work with.
