Hired them to run pipes and get permits and inspections. Once the rough in was done and it came time for the final trims, they tried to strong arm for for an extra $1700 because they assumed I’m in a desperate situation and need the final inspection. Later we find out that the pipes were not even glued with some pipes being cut(see pictures ) Stay away from this company!

We met this provider when he installed a dishwasher in our rental unit earlier in the month through a big box store. Thus, we also scheduled for him to come in and install a new faucet and fix a toilet issue. He was supposed to perform the work on Saturday between 12-4. We received a call that he was running late and would call when he was finished with his other job. Around 5pm he called to say he got held up and would need to install on Monday instead. He promised to give us a call Monday morning with the new time for the install. This was time sensitive as we had renters moving in within days.
When Monday came around we never received any contact at all. My husband emailed the company and the response was that they might be able to make it out on Thursday. This caused a lot of stress.I do not recommend using this company if you need a project completed in a timely manner. What the provider did was very unprofessional. Thus, we ended up hiring someone different for the job who performed it ASAP.

"We are a family owned business that is very small. Customer Service is extremely important to us. Although some customers you will never please as you can see we have a negative rating. The President of the company happens to be the Master Plumber who works out in the field. He was very busy Saturday and did ask if he could reschedule for Monday. Unfortunately with plumbing you run in to issues. It happens that Monday was icy weather and we as business owners wanted to protect our assets and most importantly the safety of Master Plumber. If you would have waited until Thursday the cost would have been 225.00 as opposed to 400.00. I guess the higher price is to get your emergency repairs done promptly. I’m not sure a toilet and a faucet in a vacant property are emergency repairs."

Apparently they can perform installation miracles. My house is 11 feet wide with little room for maneuvering a 29and quot; dryer. They arrived within the allotted window of time, got the old dryer out and the new one in without a scratch. They were professional and took the space challenges in stride.

Steve and his helper did an excellent job and were very thorough.The price was exactly what he had quoted and was very reasonable.I would definitely use Plumb Cheap again.

I have used Steve at Cheap Plumb several times to help me with small plumbing issues at my rental in Maryland. He is responsive and does a good job and his rates are good.

Look no further if you want to see examples of horrible plumbing work. Here are the highlights.
1. Two of three toilets he installed required fixing because they would start running on their own
2. Two of three vanities he installed leaked.
3. One of two tubs he installed had to be redone because the plumbing was done incorrectly.
I had hire others to come fix his work. That cost me more time and money. If you have both to waste, let this company do you work. So many other things were done wrong or were incomplete. Be forewarned!

"There was no pleasing this customer. The toilets began to run after installation was complete. He had construction done in his home with older pipes. The vanities leaked because the walls were unfinished and he kept removing the vanities. The vanities are to remain stable after installation. One vanity was leaking because of a defective faucet that I changed for him. I don't make the products i install them. As for the tubs I did re-pipe the diverters and this is the first I have heard of that. I truly stand behind my work. I went to his house several times to satisfy his complaints. I even installed a new main shut off valve for him for him free of charge to try and satisfy this customer."

Steve worked with the tenant to come out and investigate a complaint the tenant had regarding toilets. He quickly set up a time to come out and took care of the issues that day. He was quick to repond to me and let me know what work was completed and how much the final bill was.

They recommended a roofer that we used, my husband wouldn't have asked them for a recommendation if they didn't do a good job. The work has been holding up well. They were responsive, he told us right away that he was busy so we knew it would be a moment before he could do the work but he was upfront about it. He came in, got it done and was out.

I woke up with two clogged toilets. Called Plumb Cheap and spoke with Steve. He was in the middle of installing a dishwasher but said he'd call me back as soon as he was done. Two hours later he as at my house and got right to work. It was apparently a clog down in the pipes which is why my plunger wouldn't clear it. 15 minutes later I had flushing toilets again and some advice for keeping my drains clear (which is an issue because of my long hair). I found Plumb Cheap professional, friendly and quick. And for an emergency call for two toilets, I didn't find the price bad at all. I've already recommended them to a friend who's going to be needing a plumber. Would definitely use again.
